We stayed in several luxury accommodations during our time island hopping and this was by far our most favourite. We had the villa with private pool (room v8) and it was fantastic. We instantly felt at home. Great little private pool, lovely shower, comfy super king bed and the air conditioning was fantastic. We didn't want to leave this place. Lovely staff too. Always serving with a smile. Breakfasts were great and staff always willing to help out. Would highly recommend this lovely resort. Total relaxation. If you want something more lively at night then there's an array of local bars and restaurants a few minutes walk into the village. Thank you Nest Sense for a lovely stay. We will miss this place. Everything here is perfect. All staff are well friendly and helpful. They helped me out with a birthday surprise for my boyfriend which is really nice(a swan couple made from towel, birthday card, a decoration flower and cake). Room is very clean and bed is really comfy. Big swimming pool. Delicious breakfast and bbq dinner. Amazing fire show and also lovely live music. The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated.

The rooms are very well equiped. You find a safe, a big wardrobe, a desk, a fridge, a big mirror and a comfy double or twin – beds. You have the possibility to cook tea or coffee. Drinking water is provided every day.

We rented the room with the jaccuzi and it was phenomenal! Spacious living room large bathroom with sea view, comfy bed, Netflix on TV. Large private terrace. The breakfast was okay, maybe a little bit bland after a while. The staff was nice, the aircon worked great. Good location to reach both sides of the island. We also rented the scooter (125cc) from them and it worked great. The beach in front of the hotel is not usable 24/7, at high tide it's simply underwater. The area around the hotel offers many restaurants, the small night market next to it is also nice.
