The rooms were amazing, comfortable beds, huge bathroom and shower, and our room even smelled of chocolate! The hotel is close to restaurants. Amazing breakfast, anything you want you can have!

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The hotel is right in the historical center of Guimarães but still offers parking (100m down the road). The room was absolutely fantastic, so comfortable and neat. We had a gorgeous balcony opened to the pedestrian street below, the bed had 3 different sort of pillows to choose from, I couldn’t fault anything. The staff was extremely cordial and kind, especially considering my husband’s mishap at breakfast when he spilled coffee all over the counter (we’re terribly sorry). They were all lovely to us from the first minute to the last! Great impression since it’s our first time in the city, but we’ll definitely be back and stay here again!

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. This property was amazing! What a unique hotel! It was so fun to drive up the windy, tiny road to the top of the hill to find an amazing building with lovely views. The hotel is stunning. It's like you're walking through a museum only you get to stay there. The architecture, paintings, and ceramic tiles were the background for leisurely strolls in the beautiful grounds. We had a fabulous dinner and drinks in the lounge and enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. The price was so reasonable. A shout out to the very friendly and very helpful staff!

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. The apartment is great, very spatious, clean, and provided with all necessaries for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the small balcony, perfect for the morning coffee (apartment Camomile). It is central and very easy to reach from the bus station and close to all the main touristic objectives of the city center. A small supermarket is next door. Thank you also for the late check out! I would definitely stay there again!

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. this was a lovely property and the room was huge and modern. it is very close to the old centre yet v quiet. breakfast was excellent

Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. An historic home in Viana do Costelo where one can experience life living in a mansion with a huge dining room, Great Room, and rich and luxurious sleeping accommodations. The breakfast is wonderful and prepared to any specific requests. The host (Tiago) was extremely helpful with a tour of the historic home and recommendations for sights and dining in the area. The history of the Casa and Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is well displayed in the reading room which is like a museum of the highest order, and the Casa has artwork and other features that made it seem like one is living the life of what is otherwise displayed in local museums. A wonderful and rich experience. A must do if possible.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. Amazing house, very well adapted for holiday makers. Excellent breakfast with lovely yoghurt and fresh fruit. good coffee too.
