Charming village, with a special ambiance connected with the famous rock and Bonaventure Island. We highly recommend the boat ride to, around and from the island, and the trail hike across the island to witness les fous de Bassans (sea gulls). It is a fabulous experience. I just love this little town, and of course the majestic Rock. The new boardwalk is amazing, so well engineered to work with Nature rather than against it. The restaurants in town are fabulous! This town is a must for those who enjoy the outdoors.
This town is a must for those who enjoy the outdoors. We went on a sea excursion and toured Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island. We saw whales and thousands of sea birds. Seals and more. The town has a number of dining facilities to choose from but some close after Labour Day so take note when planning your trip. there is zip lining and a great lookout to view the area but this comes with a small cost.Guest review byCaroline - 10.0
Lovely little touristy town.
Lovely little touristy town. We walked from hotel to all restaurants and pier. You buy your tickets for Bonaventure Island at little kiosks in the downtown area (can do this on the day of tour) - then line up about 30 minutes before departure on the pier. MUST SEE the BIRDS. If able, do the short hike to see birds on the island. AMAZING. You can buy your park pass online ahead of time OR when you arrive on the island. Either is fine. Recommend going over at 9:00 a.m. to allow extra time.Guest review byWendyCanada

Right on the beach, with a perfect unobstructed lookout point of the Roché Percé. At night, the hotel provided these fire pits outside with logs. They also let us park our trailer on the lot, which was very nice. It was wonderful. The room itself was very basic/average--but clean, and you're paying for what's outside, also next door with a great restaurant. Ideal if you have kids. Ideal if you don't. Wonderful stay!!!!
