On arrival staff were very friendly, showed us around the hotel and too our room. They offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a non alcoholic alternative for myself who’s pregnant. They also left a happy birthday card in the bedroom for us. Room was beautiful we had the double room with the hot tub on the balcony room was so clean and the hot tub was amazing the views we had from the hot tub were breath taken.Bed was so comfortable. The spa was beautiful so relaxing and great having a spa bar as well. Location is great 5/10 minuet walk into a little town with pubs restaurant and amusements. For food we went to the “pub” which is within the hotel and food was nice.Worth every penny and will be booking again.

A lovely room with a balcony overlooking the green. Huge bed plus a sitting area with a small imitation log burner which provided enough heat when the evening got cool. No staff on site but the Little Inn is run from the "big" inn across the road, whose staff were very friendly and helpful. The larger Inn also has a bar and restaurant.

Excellent location for the frequent Lakeland buses which meant we could bus to one place, walk over the hills or catch a boat, and catch a different bus back. No parking worries.
The Spar at the garage is very well stocked.
