Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

It was in a great location for public transport and walking distance to the city centre. All the staff were very nice and helpful with any questions or requests. The back garden area was also nice to sit in and have a drink.
