Fraser and Elvina at the front desk were amazing!. Very friendly and incredibly helpful. We are from the US and wanted to go to Luzerne and were a bit uncomfortable taking the train ourselves. Fraser walked me through the process, helped us buy tickets and provided printed material. A very pleasant and professional man with a a great attitude. Elvina was also very pleasant and helpful and had offered to do the same. I talked to her multiple times, she was also very helpful and made me feel like she had all the time in the world for me. Both were exceptionally well groomed!

I booked a stay at the same day due to some problems in another hotel. The staff was taking care of me from the very first minute of a stay. The service was beyond expectations. The room was clean and looked exactly the same like in the picture. The bed was big and comfortable. The room was also full of amenities like: kettle, coffee, tea, fridge, cosmetics. There was no problem with leaving baggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out. The staff was always there to help you. The location of the hotel is very comfortable, close to many tram stations and within walking distance from the city centre.

All spacious rooms and suites feature air-conditioning, an LCD satellite TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. A scrumptious breakfast is served daily at the property.

The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, especially the blond young guy (I’m sorry I didn’t take his name). There were a crazy hot sauna which was pretty necessary after the freezing cold of Basel. The bed was sooooo comfy.

This was the cheapest option available at the time of booking so I didn’t expect much, having had a bad experience in another city at a place with similar ratings and description. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We even had an ensuite with a shower with good water pressure and temperature control! And we were each provided with a bottle of water which we appreciated! The room was spacious and comfortable and although the walls are quite thin (we could hear people sneezing in the rooms next us and their conversations), it was not too noisy at night to prevent us from sleeping. We didn’t fill in the form to get the check in codes until right before we wanted to check in (our bad, we could have done it days in advance) but we received the codes within a few minutes so it was no problem. All in all it was comfortable and convenient and I would definitely stay here again.
