The hotel is beautiful, an interesting combination of old and new. Lovely bar and beautiful breakfast room. The staff were outstanding—always very helpful and patient. I needed to buy stockings one night and the very helpful young woman at the desk sent me immediately to the right place! I should add that the breakfast itself was a highlight. Most days, we never had to stop for lunch. I will definitely return and I am recommending to friends especially after a very disappointing hotel stay in Amsterdam which was approximately the same price for a room 1/4 the size with inedible expensive breakfasts.

Perfect central location for us to visit the places we wanted to. We had to move rooms on first day as the TV didn't work(!) but the rooms were spacious, comfortable and warm. All the staff we encountered were efficient, friendly and helpful. A great breakfast was provided with a generous selection of hot & cold food.
