We had a great stay! The overall design of the hotel was nice and thought through, with an emphasis on being sustainable and environmentally friendly. The automated check-in process was straightforward. We had a few interactions with the staff and they were very friendly. The room was clean and had great climate control. The breakfast was nice.

The apartment was just the right size for us (a couple). Its layout was comfortable (table, sitting chairs, bed, kitchenette, modern/nice bathroom). We don't watch TV much but the television had lots of options which we were able to enjoy. The kitchenette allowed us to eat breakfast (had electric hot water cooker for tea, French press coffee maker) as well as a small but well functioning fridge to store milk, cheese, butter and other items which also allowed us to make sandwiches for the day. One could even make a decent modest warm meal. There was a grocery story close by (Konsume) where one can pick up essentials (though one may want to plan to go to the Aldi or Edeka for better prices). There is also a Denns (BioLaden) in the neighborhood. Though we typically walked the mile to the Town Center for the day (going through the old Johannes Cemetery or the lovely neighborhoods), one could also take the tram downtown (or to the main train station). In the other direction, one could walk (or take the tram) to the Voelkerschachtdenkmal. The landlady was very responsive to emails. Another example of her responsiveness was that we made a request for an extra battery and it was delivered the next day.
