Check in was extremely simple. The room had everything you could need. Small kitchen, sofa that can be used as second bed. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is great, they leave it in the refrigerator every afternoon and bring the most amazing fresh sourdough bread in the morning.

Set on a square behind Reykjavík Cathedral and the Icelandic Parliament, this hotel offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi access and Nespresso coffee machines. Lake Tjörnin is 1 minutes’ walk away.

Really nice apartment, just as described, and in photos. Plenty of space for two people with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom with the best hot shower ever, and a comfortable bed. Bedroom has good black out shades. Comfy couch and smart TV in the living area. Centrally located near main shopping street and Rainbow street. Popular restaurant Reykjavik Fish restaurant (great fish and chips) and Valdis ice cream shop right across the street. Braud & Co. bakery a couple of minutes away (delicious cinnamon rolls). Communication with host was quick and reliable, all needed information provided (along w video to access key), and very considerate in providing an earlier check in. While we waited we used the "bounce app" to find luggage storage at a hotel nearby, 7 euros per suitcase.

This apartment was incredible. All interactions with the Host were great. The apartment was less expensive than a hotel we stayed in Reykjavik earlier during the trip, but was better in every way. Location was excellent. It is literally in the middle of shopping/dining. Could not be better. It is at street level, and I first worried about noise at night. We did hear a few people early in the evening, but was not bad at all through the night. Very modern. Full kitchen, excellent beds and bath. 3 minute walk to a grocery store. No parking included, but was not a problem. Street parking is free on weekends and evenings. We were able to park right out front. Cost and hassle was minimal. There is a parking app that allows you to pay for the exact time you are there. Free parking starts at 6 pm and ends at 9 am. we were typically away during those times, but did need to pay for two hours once. It was easy and not expensive.

Fabulous! Fabulous! Loved EVERYTHING about this apartment! GREAT location right on Rainbow street. Super spacious. The most comfortable beds and pillows. Well-stocked kitchen even with things like Wax paper, Aluminium foil etc. - super convenient. Kitchen window view of Rainbow street! Washing machine in the bathroom was so useful, along with a drying rack. There was even a fan in the room which I absolutely appreciated so much. A bit of noise from outside but not bad at all, and the host even left earplugs in case required. Parking nearby was expensive but we found P3 parking quite easily about 5 mins walk away. Highly recommend.
