The location is great, there are two bus stops (Bus stop #5 Harpa; Bus stop #6 The Culture House) within 5 mins of walk. The staffs are super nice, they gave good recommandations on what to do and where to visit.

Good location, walking distance to most of the downtown sights. New or quite well maintained room, restaurant, and complimentary sauna. Above all the staffs are attend and helpful! They got us a better room for the second stay

Hotel Cabin provided everything we needed for a week long trip. it is centrally located so it makes it easy to book tours or drive out on your own.

The hotel is new and well designed, low rise (3 floors) with inside lounge areas and an outside courtyard. and the room was very clean. Top floor rooms have a pleasant view over houses. The property is surrounded by trees that give a very pleasant ambience as if you are in a tree house. Breakfast was excellent - a buffet, cafe style.

The best hotel! I could not have been happier with my stay at Hotel Phoenix. My room was perfect. Clean as can be, very spacious, comfortable, quiet, and inclusive of all the amenities I needed. The two men that run the hotel are phenomenal hosts—I was always greeted with a smile and they were beyond helpful in providing information about the area. Breakfast was fantastic each morning and I looked forward to chatting with the owner. My room was freshened each day, and each night my blinds were closed and I had a chocolate on my pillow. The sweetest! I could not recommend this small hotel enough! When I visit Reykjavik again, this will be where I stay.

Very clean. And close to the sea and to the center. Most guided tours and transportation to and from the airport pick you up from bus stop number 13 which is in front of the lobby. That was very convenient

Breakfast was splendid with a good variety made esp. bananas. Double/triple glazing was helpful given the drilling sounds from a demolition site only meters away. Location is ideal to stretch the legs adequately down the main highstreet shopping street and up to the huge towering church. Cab service from hotel is awesome which Reception Staff arranged to taxi us to the Skarfabakki Cruise Terminal (highly recommended).
