The bed was amazing, I even had a little shelving unit, a light, a fan, a window, and some floor space to myself. The host was fantastic, I will 100% be staying here if I come back to kyoto. There was also a beautiful little garden in the back and the beautiful tiling in the bathrooms. There are also bicycles for rent which I will use if I come back. The host also has created a map with local recommendations.

This was an amazing place to stay! The rooms were very comfortable and I had the best sleep of my trip. The shared bathroom weren’t a problem because we visited Funaoka Onsen, which was a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond. Despite being slightly hard to get to, it is in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

This is actually my second time staying here at Hostel Sui. I like booking here because it's quiet, away from the usual crowd. I booked a different room from last time, this was the Economy type, and I'd have to say it was a bit of work to move in but it was still comfortable to sleep in. Everything is clean and well-maintained, still the same from when I had stayed here last year.

It was very quiet and peaceful but also very accessible to public transport. It's just a few steps away from Kawaramachi Marutamachi bus station. Best part were the two nice ladies who are very helpful and welcoming. The next time I'm in Kyoto, I will stay here again!
