Hotels in Shijo, Kyoto

The hotel is awesome and beautiful compare to the hotel where I stay in Tokyo , this hotel is more way better

Nice clean modern rooms Liked having three twin beds as a choice Nice healthy breakfast Nice friendly staff

The location was perfect! 7-11 downstairs & a few options for train stations. Everything within walking distance. The staff were amazing & very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. We didn’t want to leave on to Tokyo. The shower is amazing!!!!! Hands down the BEST ever. Water pressure was on point & loved how it kept all the water inside. Way better than a tub. The washer & dryer was convenient.

Location, rooms, cleanliness, service, stuff. Everything was perfect.

Great location and friendly staff that was delighted to help with anything. Clean room

Room was spatious and clean, bed was king size, very comfortable, we even got extra pillow. Room and the whole hotel smelled very nice. Hotel estetic and designe is modern yet traditional. Beautyful hotel.

First encounter with Mitsui hotel has left me with a lasting high impression. The temple inside the hotel is quite exclusive and a game changer. As you walk in the scents in the lobby calm you down. The hot bath was a real add-on to the comfortable stay. The breakfast was really nice. Close by to Gion district and Nishiki market among others. Rika, the manager, is a true people connaisseur. Appreciated the surprise gift for the special occasion; unaccepted and so nice. Thank you!

Really nice hotel close to the turist spots with a lot of subesys and buses near

This lovely hotel is wonderfully located in Kyoto - I walked pretty much everywhere that I wanted to go from here - and the staff were just lovely. Some real highlights are the laundry room that you can use, the ice machine, and vending machines. The room was comfortable, and I really appreciated being able to borrow both the phone charger that was in the room, and a plug adapter which was available at the front desk. Breakfast was a particular highlight, including lots of healthy protein and veg options. Coffee was exceptional! A real gem of a place.

Excellent service and courtesy atmosphere

Nice rooms w/ big tub. Complimentary drinks.

We booked the Triple and Japanese Style Rooms - rooms were clean, not so big but comfortable enough. Beds were comfortable, even the futons, you won't feel like you're sleeping on the floor, and you can get extra pillows from the hallway. The Japanese Style room is great for kids! Loved the common area - free flowing water, coffee and tea. There's free sake. There's a play area for kids. Place is great to stay at while you wait for check-in or after check-out. They have umbrellas you can borrow in case it rains. Breakfast was awesome! :) Location - close to Karasuma and Shijo stations

I found the room to be spacious enough for the 2 of us. Overall, the space of the room was the highlight. My friends and I also find the room to be very clean and enjoyed our stay in Kyoto. There were also a few stores eg Family Mart, 100 yen shop and a ramen place near us, making the stay even more convenient! Within a 5 minute walking distance, we are able to reach the main shopping / food streets as well.

Breakfast was great. We love the location, the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious in Japan standards. Overall love the stay. We would stay again.

Simple but practical and beautiful design. Good location

The interior, room space is quiet big comparing with other hotel in japan, strategic location.
