The location was excellent. It was the quietest part of the city center and it was just 5 mins walk from the beach. And there was very nice view to the beach and the sea. There are large and comfortable balcony and terrace.

We rented two apartments for a mixed group of family and friends, including two children. The apartments were superb: spacious, incredibly well-equipped and really well located close to the old town with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The pool was lovely, really clean and very private.

Staying at Maria‘s guest house was like staying with a good friend. Maria is the most kind and warm person you will ever meet in Portugal. She and I sat and talked every day that I was there. The location is phenomenal. Literally you can walk out the front door, and walk through the access tunnel to get to the beach, in less than 5 minutes. At the beach, in the summertime you can pay 10€ to secure a lounge chair under a palapa umbrella with bar and food service. At the guest house there is no elevator, and you will have to walk up one flight of stairs up to your guestroom. My room had a portable air conditioner, and balcony facing the busy pedestrian alleyway full of restaurants and bars. All rooms have PRIVATE BATHS. There is a communal kitchen where guests are welcomed to prepare a lite breakfast if you bring food with you. I took the Rede bus from Lisbon to Albufeira, then jumped on a local bus, down to the edge of old town and it was easy. You can pay on the bus. I think it was 1.50 euro. Once you get off the bus, you’ll have to drag your luggage 10 minutes through old town to reach Maria’s guest house. No cars have accessibility into the old town area. It’s only by foot. When I return to Albufeira, I will most definitely stay at Maria’s Guest house…Highly recommend!!!

Great communication with the Home Holidays team and very easy check-in process. Arranged airport transfers with them - all on time as promised. The apartment was nice and clean on arrival and exactly as shown in photos.
