This is an outstanding hotel far away from New York standards. Closed to everywhere: broadway, time square, central park (if you are a good walker), with a bus station just in front of the hotel for longer distances. The hotel is very nice. Sure this is not the most modern hotel we used to have, but it is well maintained, and it is on a human scale (no wait for minutes to have acces to the elevator for instance). The room was larger than expected for 4 for a 10 days stay. Large enough so we could put all our luggage without any problem. The neighborhood is fantastic with lots of good restaurants. 2 starbucks at the corners. I would recommand it to anyone going to New York.

Location was fantastic for easy access to metros - the 6 is right there, and you can walk to half a dozen other lines in under 15 minutes. The only downside is that once you go a tad west, it gets a bit shady already after dark, even if that means 5pm! But during the day we walked a ton and felt very comfortable. You can see a lot of Manhattan on foot from this spot. Rooms were huge and well appointed, proper crib for the baby and enormous bathtub! The rooftop bar (indoors) was a nice bonus and our bartender Sebastien was super friendly and acommodating. The tapas up there were excellent. Friendly staff and mostly helpful. Sound isolation to the outside excellent!

the property is super comfy, I stayed here a week so I really know all of it. the only thing is that the rooms are a bit small, but that’s really the only thing. they are super cute, super clean, super good furniture, everything very pleasant.
