Everything! The room was beautiful and big, comfy bed, very clean and nice! There's a sauna and a spa, also a BBQ area-just perfect! I think it's actually the best motel we've ever stayed at and we've been to many over the years of travelling! 😊

We had quite a long leg of driving between Melbourne and Canberra and were looking for a place to break this in two halves. We found this hotel/winery, which was exactly what we were looking for: a winery with tasting, a very good restaurant and a hotel. The rooms are big, almost apartment sized, with a big bathroom and a terrace overlooking the vines. No worries about storage space here and of course there's a well-stocked fridge (stocked with wine of course ;) ). The town is in walking distance, and a wine tasting is included in the room, which we of course did. No worries about parking either, there's plenty and it's free.

Harry's On Moodemere is a recently renovated villa in Rutherglen where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, garden, and bar.

We had the privilege of being the first guests at Harry's on Moodemere, and it was absolutely unforgettable! With two young daughters, the space of the two master bedrooms with large walk in robes were a dream come true. The walk in robes are so big we used one as a bedroom for our 1 year old! The bathrooms were simply breathtaking, with oversized baths and stone basins. Despite the cooler weather, we spent most of our time outdoors, gathered around the fire pit and swimming in the deceivingly large heated plunge pool. The gardens provided endless entertainment for the kids, who were delighted by sightings of native wildlife including kangaroos and pelicans. The convenience of having Lake Moodemere Estate's restaurant nearby was an added bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend Harry's on Moodemere to anyone seeking a winery retreat.

The romm was wonderfully decorated and large. It was a in fact a suite of 3 rooms plus a private yard. We also had shared access to the kitchen and dining rooms. The host (Chris) was the host with the most. Caring, entertaining, sweet, very eager to please the guests. The location was a short walk from town centre and the whole region was superbly dotted with wineries and Murray River and lake walks. Fantastic gettaway. Also very pet friendly!
