The location was lovely and convenient for visiting other places. Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Great watching red squirrels and some beautiful birds. We just loved it there. Would stay again.

Really friendly and good facilities. I rented the single room - no view of the sea-perfect room with lovely updated show room. Bar and restaurant for dinner. Great price!

We often stay in Dunoon to visit our family there and it was probably the nicest of places we have stayed at so far. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was pleasant, though the shower itself doesn’t have the best pressure.

Prices for hotels en route were unaffordable for a solo walker. Great location 5 minutes from the pier for ferries and buses. Single room was warm, had hot drinks and a TV. Ensuite small but functional Very reasonable price for a single walker. I don't normally eat at hotel restaurants but after the first night, decided it was so good value that I would eat there the second night. Italian/Spanish menu - good sized tasty portios at a very reasonable price.
