I liked absolutely everything. I got exactly what I was looking for: an experience in nature. I wanted to experience the Guatemalan jungle, and that is exactly what I got. The food was exquisite and clean. You do not need to worry about getting sick even if you eat the delicious ceviche. Angela at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. Angela is very upfront and honest. She gave us information that made us make better decisions about the adventures that we chose to experience while in Rio Dulce. Leo was friendly and communicative. He is the best.

This is a really nice place on the water with fantastic staff! My room was nice, there were nets to keep bugs out, and the staff were very friendly. It's a comfortable place to hang out. The restaurant had good options as well. Hotel Kangaroo rents kayaks, you can swim, and it's not far from the castle. You can also take a trip to Livingston from there. I'd recommend staying here.
