Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. Oh my god this place is stuck in the last century in a good way. Furniture is dated, staff is not too young either. But it's a lovely charming time capsule with so much to enjoy. They don't only offer a free shuttle when you arrive and leave, but also when you want to see the floating torii lit up during the evening. Sea view from the room is something I wish I had more days to enjoy. Room service drinks are a great way to ease into the slower pace of the place. A quick dip in the onsen and they're already bringing the food to your room, setting up the table, carefully explaining each dish. And there's more and more fresh seasonal dishes coming. After that, if you choose to enjoy the night views, your bed is made, you just have to slide in, or take another dip. In the summer it could be even nicer, but I want to experience this place in all seasons. There's deer running below your window all the time. It's just crazy.
