loved the smoked bacon; had enough to eat till supper time; grew up on a small farm in northern Germany similar to this one and at 83 have gotten sentimental about that, if only because I don't have to clean the pigstall any longer! My daughter was completely infatuated by your baby dogs; convenient location for getting to Villa Romana (our main destination} Addition: My wife and daughter enjoyed being invited by Maria for coffee and conversation on her patio.

Lovely place in the middle or nature and great surroundings. The property is great and the staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. Dinner was absolutely amazing and very good quality for money. We also had our dog with us and everything went well with him. We stayed in one of the houses next to the pool which was a great choice, however the pool was not open yet and not many tourists at the accommodation. In high season might be more noisy there, but for us it was amazing! :)

We loved how quiet and private the property was. Lots of places to sit and reflect on the day. A lovely pool to return to after a hot day of exploring the local towns and countryside. And friendly animals and staff to welcome us back! We particularly appreciated Carlo and all of the helpful instructions he gave us about restaurants and sites to see. Having dinner at the villa was a wonderful way to end the day.

After a long drive we arrived at the property. Although it is located on a country road (gravel), from the main road the direction is very well indicated. The drive to the hacienda is bumpy, yet interesting as it leads through a small forested area with cows walking about. The property is very well maintained, everything looked excellent and clean. There is a pool and whirlpool, and there are several activities to take part in: walking, mountain biking, horseback riding. Trails start from the hacienda. Rooms are very roomy. Restaurant personnel is very nice, the food is good. They served a fixed menu (no a la carte when we were there), and we enjoyed it very much.
