+ View from the terrace! Best panoramic view of the city! + Breakfast was nice, but the ambience was even better. Thanks to the panoramic view from the breakfast table and the beautiful music played on the turntable. Apart from the regular stuff, fresh fruits from the garden were also available. Luciano made special long coffee for us which was awesome. + Room was nice too, with a beautiful view from the balcony. + Safe and free parking available in the premises. + Short drive to the Villa Romana del Casale. + Luciano was very helpful, even when we had some problems and also in planning our sight seeing activities there. (Actually, everyone there was super nice.) + Atmosphere is totally homely and very comfortable here. This place truly enhanced our experience of Sicily, we wish we stayed longer!

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town. The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.
The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!
beautiful town with lots to do in and around the area, having transport was a bonus to visit attractions. the town itself had plenty of dining options and nice bars / cafes. The people were very friendly and helpful.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.
Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere. (Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)
Piazza Armerina
Fantastic breakfast. Unbelievable variety of cheese, ham, sausages, bread, selfmade pastries and marmalade. Just the breakfast alone is worth the trip. We had dinner and Ettore is a fantastic chef. Fresh and very delicious food. Selfmade wine and limoncello. Piazza Armerina is a nice Place to visit but actually we came only for this bed and breakfast and it’s been worth 1000% Go there if you visit Sicily. Ines and Ettore mille Grazie per la vostra calorosa ospitalita
Piazza Armerina
La Casa Sulla Collina d’Oro is a little rustic and may not be for everyone. But it was perfect for us. Luciano was a wonderful host - charming, attentive and very helpful. The view over the town of Piazza Armerina was lovely. Breakfast included a wide selection and was served around large tables with a beautiful view. The accommodation was well located, close to town and just a short drive to Villa Casale. I can highly recommend.
Piazza Armerina
Very convenient/central location. Modernized rooms. The breakfast was excellent, especially the fruits. The hosts Giuliana and Giuseppe were exceptional. They treated me like family, and on my last day, showed me a bit more of the town and had dinner with me at one of the best pizza spots in Piazza Amerina! They also offered me a nice tour of the Villa Romana del Casale and Caltagirone. They made my stay a homely one.
Piazza Armerina
Fantastic location for visiting central Sicily or for attending an event at the popular Tenuta Savoca venue (just 9 min away by car). The accomodation was extremely clean, breakfast offered is both sweet and savoury and the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and caring. Rooms are quiet, spacious and equipped with A/C. A fantastic stay, and I will definitely stay here again should I be visiting central Sicily.
Piazza Armerina
Roberto and Nicky were very friendly, prepared for us great breakfast (with local specialities, a lot of fruit and fantastic eggs omelette). We liked design room and beautifull view from terrace. Our arrival to accomodation was late, but the owners waited for us. Roberto provided us by many tips and information for trips to Sicily.
Piazza Armerina
The property has been beautifully restored and is very well located. Davide arranged parking in front of the property. Breakfast was plentiful and Davide was attentive to our requests. Overall, a wonderful overnight stay after our visit to Villa del Casale. Be sure to visit SiciliArteGusto - a nearby wine bar!
Piazza Armerina
It is definitely in a quiet part of Piazza Armerina, at the bottom of the hill. Even though the autostrada is near, you hardly hear anything. So as far as quiet is concerned it is ideal. The room is spartan but efficient and clean. AC very efficient. Very nice clean crispy towels.
Piazza Armerina
Amazing pool in a beautiful garden setting. Rita was very nice and communicative (her english is not as strong as her italian, but we managed well with google translate) For breakfast she got us everything we asked for, with some extra home made jam and personal cannoli!
Piazza Armerina
The host was warm and welcoming, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. He treated us to a glass of wine, and made our dinner reservations. Breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Sicily. We highly recommend this charming property and its Owners.
Hotel is close to the city center (5 min walk). Hotel has a fantastic view towards the beach. Breakfeast was good. Parking at the hotel is a challange, entrance is quite small and steep. You have to leave the car keys at the reception, they will park your car.
Piazza Armerina
It is one the very few naturally cool rooms in Sicily. That was a delight for a northerner. The host was very nice and helpful. When he texts you how to get there,do believe him over any navi, or you will be in for a treat. :)
It was clean, price was right, good location, parking provided but a bit difficult to get in and out of. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Hotel was responsive to requests for an adapter and an extra pillow.
Piazza Armerina
One of the best stays we had in Sicily. Lovely and quiet place. Our daughter loved the animals there (2 dogs, horses, chicken and donkeys). Delicious breakfast and a very friendly host!
Piazza Armerina
Our hosts were very welcoming, provided a lovely breakfast, the room was large, clean & quiet. It was easy to park outside and close to the historic centre of Piazza Armerina.
An experience not to be missed in this city. Individualist rooms made by artist and a cool stuff that speaks of a concept that wants to bring more than just a hotel to this town
Piazza Armerina
Unbelievable wonderful place on Sicily Cooler in hot summer, due to location Had a small plunge pool too We asked for a home made dinner, which was fabulous
Piazza Armerina
The rooms were clean and spacious. The views of piazza armerina are great and it is set in a very quiet location. Staff were really helpful and very friendly.
Piazza Armerina
Everything! A nice change from staying in the crowded hill towns of Sicily. Hosts and dinners were amazing.
Piazza Armerina
Good location, amazing view of the historic Piazza Armerina. Friendly host. Private parking.
