Providing city views, B&B L'Angelica in Piazza Armerina provides accommodations and free bikes. Complimentary WiFi is provided. The hosts are extraordinary. They are so hospitable and friendly. There is a private parking space in the heart of historical center. Amazing! The breakfast was the feast, consisting of only ecological and locally produced, excellet ingredients. Some of them produced by the host from his own fruits. Whats more it’s still nothing comparing to the dinner. We havent eaten anything so delishious during our trip in Sicilia. Villa Romana is worth going to Piazza Armerina, but now we know it’s worth just to stay at l’Angelico.

The old part of town near the cathedral where we stayed in Piazza Armerina is in transition. Much of the old heart is abandoned and for sale, and even the churches are empty and have been stripped of all stucco and marble, as part of the one-euro plan to renovate the town. This is an interesting project that has worked for a number of old towns in Italy already and the staff at our hotel is optimistic that it will work for Piazza Armerina. The town certainly has potential.
Nice Greco-Roman era town. An ancient fabulous Roman Villa is not far away. Note: Be very careful traveling into the old city as the roads are very very narrow and hard to navigate out. Do not bring anything but a compact car into the town.
We didn't go to the town itself, but the mosaics at the roman villa are utterly exceptional. There is nothing like them -- they extend over literally dozens of rooms -- in the world. Saved for posterity by being buried for centuries under the dry soil of Sicily.
Surprisingly interesting town for its size. Very tricky geography at first, as it is spread out and highly contoured, but one gets used to it. The historic centre, however, is compact and walkable (and pleasant!). The Villa Romane, 4km away, is a major site; it claims the best Roman mosaics anywhere, and I certainly wouldn't argue. Lots of good eating options.
Villa Romana de Castello mosaics were amazing. There is no bus after September, so we took a taxi in one directionfor 15€ and walked back (1 hour). Villa Romana was very busy, but the town on Piazza is quiet. We enjoyed an exhibition of old books in the Jesuit college, and the rustic museum of Contadin with fascinating explanations by the owner Mario.
Villa Romana del Casale mosaic ruins was fabulous. Otherwise, I would not recommend trying to drive in this hilltop, crowded, confusing and potentially dangerous town. Frustrating, stressful and Google Maps is no help at all. Get out as quickly as you can.
Piazza Armerina
The host was fantastic, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon by bus to find no taxis or buses running. He got his girlfriend to collect us and bring us to the hotel and then arranged for his taxi driver friend Roberto to take us to the mosaics at Villa Romana del Cassale on a Sunday afternoon. The room was superbly furnished and had a glass topped staircase with retro bike and grammar phone. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip all freshly prepared by the host.

The hosts at Xenia were very nice to us and understanding with some emergency we had upon arrival with our car. The apartment is located in the Main Street of Piazza Armerina in a very charming renovated building. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom is renovated and very nice. Everything was very clean and comfy and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again and longer.

We had just spent the day at the Valley of the Temples and the Villa Romana del Casale. The B&B was a convenient and comfortable location. Not only was it comfortable, it was situated close to the Duomo and the center of Piazza Armerina. Our hostess gave us directions a wonderful restaurant and took great care of us. I wish our stay could have been longer as the B&B was wonderful and i am sure we missed parts of the city.

The hosts were amazing ! They treated us like a family. The villa is located in an excellent location closer to all the nice restaurants and city Center. The parking is inside the villa and has abundance space. The breakfast was home made. I especially loved the homemade Orange and lemon Jam. We had a good chat in the evening and was fun. Overall an excellent choice if you visit Piazza armerina.
Piazza Armerina
Very well located, near the cathedral up the city of Piazza Armerina. Very easy to access by car (thanks to the precious instructions sent in Whats'app by Piera and Massimo). The place is charming and in a very beautiful typical street. We let the car every nights because it is already well located and close to busy streets. It was really amazing ! Thank you so much !
Piazza Armerina
Perfect location in the countryside but very close to the town ad to the Villa Romana del Casale; Giuseppe and his family are very friendly and careful to satisfy every request; the room was clean, comfortable and quiet and I truly recommend the dinner at the place, especially Alessandro's caponata! Excellent place to enjoy Piazza Armerina!
Location was excellent - in the centre and opposite a wonderful view of the duomo and surrounding countryside. The room was wacky and fun - we were given a choice on arrival. A great fun hotel with loads of art work. Welcoming staff and a good breakfast on the rooftop balcony overlooking the countryside. Perfect.
Piazza Armerina
The place was away from the city's noise but close to the city centre at the same time. Perfect spot! The room was cosy with a beautiful view of the countryside. Exceptional breakfast with a great host who helped us go around Sicily and discover new places. I will definitely come back!

Extremely good value. Big and clean room. Good location for a pit stop in the middle of Sicily specially if going to see the mosaics near Piazza Armerina. Good breakfast - its hard to find bacon for breakfast in Italy! Dinner was great too!
