The best staff in the world, attentive and kind but also self confident and funny. They made our stay amazing and made us feel at home. Very professional and genuine people. Keep it up!!! Fantastic local breakfasts served fresh to the table! The location is perfect, it’s walking distance to anything in Georgetown. The room was spotless clean, free unlimited water and little snacks is a nice touch. The hotel is small and very nicely decorated.

The 88 is on the most beautiful street in Georgetown. It’s very central and a short walk to most of the destinations that you’d want to see in Penang. Our host was extremely helpful and the hotel itself is incredible - a beautifully preserved colonial building.

Great location, walking distance to many places in George Town. Cordial staff, very welcoming hotel in a great building. The toilet amenities were replenished daily. Comforting bed and very obscuring curtains. The bathroom and room were very clean! The breakfast was abundant!

Checking in was very smooth and fast, no deposit was collected. The staff are very welcoming, the hotel exceeds our expectations, it was around 5kms from Georgetown fairy but cab fares are affordable. U have Lotus mall next to the hotel, food court in the mall is affordable, 24/7 supermarket on the same building ground floor. All the hotels in malaysia are very strict about No smoking policy so please be very cautious or You guys will be in trouble. Also I think the hotel is renovated, so the rooms are quite clean and the ambience is very good
