Mike and Maree (plus Dougal) were wonderful hosts! Our room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony in the early evening was so relaxing and peaceful. Mike recommmended watching the the sunrise from our balcony was an absolute bonus. The location of the BnB was ideal for walking into the city centre. The continential breakfast was very inviting! If we are lucky enough to be in Napier again we would not hesistate staying at M&M's again. Thank you Mike and Maree for a memorable stay

Reyma and Phillip are the best hosts, and endeavor to provide the complete B&B experience for their guests. They include appetizers with wine tasting while they sit down with you and spend time to get to know you. Oh, there was port in the room along with chocolate, coffee or tea for your morning before a complete breakfast in their lovely dining room. And we were upgraded to their best room, large with spa bath and double sinks. Most amazing, and this has never happened in 40 years of traveling, Phillip cleaned our dirty windshield just as we were packing up to leave. So on a scale 1 to 10, they're a 15.

Impressed with this hotel: our room, staff, breakfasts, evening meals, underground parking (at$15pn). Breakfasts consisted of a good continental spread plus an individually prepared hot meal. I can't remember if the latter was included or whether I had prepaid. It did mean the breakfast was hot and not a possible lukewarm meal from a bain-marie. The hotel was just a little way from "town" (but not very far) and there was a Pac'n Save supermarket just over the road for nibbles and drinks. This was my second visit to Napier mainly to look at art deco commercial buildings (with Hastings also a must & possibly even a better example). I doubt there will be a 3rd visit (only because of age) but the hotel is now part of a Group and I would certainly consider those other hotels if they fall within my travel plans. Also by joining the free membership you get a good discount from meals etc.

I stayed in a garden room at Kennedy Park with my mum on a recent trip. It was easily located, check in was simple and easy to find our room, with car park, opposite the pool. We only stayed one night but the accom was clean and adequate with a kettle, fridge and microwave for snacks.
