The Out of Africa suite is a dream. Perfect! Kudos to Samuel , the butler, and much love to all the staff. This is simply one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Traveling for the first time into this part of "historical" South Africa and after hearing about the negative stuff, I wasn't sure how it will be, but "Lungi" made it a "smooth" ride. He knows many people around and will help you out in getting rid of the negative perceptions/stereotypes you have about this place. He can also spontaneously organize tours and guide you in showing different places around Jo'burg/Soweto. After staying here, I can say that staying here was better than in staying in Jo'burg. The room & the toilets are clean...and no mosquitoes (at least inside the room). So, it was a learning & a great stay! :)

With garden views, Amadwala Lodge is located in Roodepoort and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and grill. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge....
