As I booked a room with a view, I did get an amazing view! The building itself looks like a museum- artwork, furniture etc. Also there is a common area to go read a book/work, which many people were using respectfully. Location is great, if you wish to see the main touristy locations. But do prepare to walk up-down the hills.

Perfect location in a perfect city. The suite was very cute and decorated really uniquely. Bed was comfortable. Our suite had cool windows high up near the ceiling that opened via a switch which was nice to keep us cool during the night. Check-in was easy and convenient. I’m hoping to come back to Cuenca again since it was so nice and I hope to stay at these apartments again.

I could not be happier with the choice to stay here and book a room with a terrace. The room was spacious, clean and interesting--not a stale hotel room. But the terrace was the absolute highlight. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant in the hotel are not to be missed. The whole place feels like a fairytale and it is wonderful to be dropped in the middle of everything, with some of the best views in the city and delicious platos típicos right at your fingertips. Keep in mind, if accessibility is an issue, the whole city is stairs and the posada has plenty inside. That made the place more magical to me but should be noted if that is a concern for you.

We loved it! Very good staff, very calm, cosy and silent old fashion hotel. Good view through the windows. Hope to stay there again.

A bit small, but it is a Hostel. GREAT VIEW & location near the castle gate. Not much else, but great views. Ask for a rear room vs front rooms.

Location was not on a steep hill like much of Cuenca is - easy access

Very nice owners (they don't speak English, but we managed with my horrible Spanish). Very helpful. Location is down below the old city in "the flats" just on the edge of where the steep uphill climbs begin.

Hostal San Pedro enjoys a location in Cuenca, a 4-minute walk from Hanging Houses and 15 miles from Ciudad Encantada. A tour desk can provide information on the area.
