Amazing host (like a close friend) picked up us from the bus stand, shown the property, quick check-in formalities, again drop us at market for dinner at 1st night. It's a new property, all new. Guided us on imp tourist places and cheap transportation in Coorg. The best part was provided us homemade breakfast and tea on time, superb! We extended our stay for 2 nights, all good.... Again drop us at bus stand after check-out. Hopefully will visit again with family in winter season 😃

I drove from Bengaluru to Medikeri and booked this property and was thinking how will it be as I had bad experiences with OYO rooms. But this property is very good and the staff/care taker Afridi and the owner are very good. They take care of you very well. The property is well maintained, at a reasonable price and at walkable distance to departmental stores and hotels. The property owner also allows you to use the kitchen incase you want to use it.

I had an unforgettable experience at Ameya Coorg Homestay. The property itself is a true gem, offering both luxury and comfort in the heart of Coorg. The hospitality and service were beyond exceptional—I've never encountered such warmth and attention to detail. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about the comfort of the guests, ensuring everything is perfect. The facilities are top-notch, providing a peaceful retreat with modern amenities that make you feel right at home. The homestay's proximity to Madikeri town makes it an ideal location, offering easy access yet a serene atmosphere. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of experience offered. I would absolutely love to return for another stay.❤️

5/5 Must Read !! Myself, My wife and Kid (3 years) stayed for 2 nights in Kollanoor Guest House. Initially we were confused in finding a property at Madekeri, then saw this property with Good reviews and the Photos. We Planned Coorg to celebrate our 6th Wedding Anniversary (Read till the end) A surprise was waiting for us at Kollanoor. I must say WE literally ENJOYED staying at Kollanoor Guest House. 1. The VIEW of mountains from the property is amazingly soothing, If u r lucky u can see a great view of Sunset. At night we sat by the balcony seeing the mountains and sky along with a pleasant music... Aww really mesmerizing. 2. The Management (Manager - Pravin Bhai, Care Taker - Francis, Cook - Unni Chettan) and the Owner himself S/O John Kollanoor Mr. Sushant (A Young Charming Guy) took care of us and even other Guests like their family member. They were available at a call distance. 3. Food is really amazing - U will get Coorg style Preparation and also the style u recommend. (Breakfast is their choice not ours)... Surprising fact was they didn't charge anything for the 2 times Tea and Milk for my child. Really appreciating. 4. Sushant was kind enough to take us to see the farm in his Jeep (Off Roading). 5. Those Who love Dogs, they have GREAT DANE (Luca) who is scary but lovely. 6. A Mountain view SWING (Really enjoyable and Great for Shooting videos and Photos). 7. They even have a badminton court (Happy to say I joined with them to play 6 rounds of Badminton game, really funny) 8. The rooms were really clean and pleasant however few fresheners in restrooms will help. Now the Most Exciting part - They throwed us a surprising CAKE (RED VELVET) and CAMP FIRE party to celebrate our 6th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. All of them joined with us and even few of the other guests joined to celebrate. This was our BEST Anniversary Celebrations till date. Thanks to Sushant, Pravin and Francis. Kollanoor will be always our choice of home at COORG !!

The location is really convenient and the view from the terrace and the Deluxe suite is just too good. The owner is extremely accommodating and helpful. This was our first stay in a homestay and we are very impressed.
