Our stay was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every minute! We were welcomed with homemade port wine and really good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. We enjoyed breakfast and infinity pool, and a jacuzzi in the evening as well. Overall our stay was exceptional and we will definitely recommend this gem of Dou ro valley and will arrange another trip to come back!

The Casal da Viúva was an amazing place to stay. The hosts are extremely welcoming! We arranged to have dinner there, and the two of them made us a great home-cooked meal. The breakfast spread was excellent. We got to hear stories of wine production in the Doura Valley, got a tour of their personal collection of historical wine making and farming implements, and had a very enjoyable time. Highly recommended!!

Everything was perfect. From the warm welcome to the beautiful view! We stayed in one of the bungalows. There is a big wow factor when you enter the apartment: big bay windows with the most magical view. And the bungalow is quite spacious, super clean, comfortable, quiet, decorated with taste! Margarida and Luís were also amazing, with great recos and attention. The wine tasting was also a fun experience. Luís' passion for wine is contagious.

Everything about the property is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly, food is wonderful, and the wine is incredible. Rooms were so big and spacious which was great for our family. No river views but still beautiful views of the mountains. we loved our stay here, absolutely amazing.

Casa da Vinha Grande is the perfect place for a truly authentic experience of the Douro Valley. Sofia is a genuine host who is eager to share her love for her region and all that it has to offer. We loved lounging around the house and taking our time and talking to Sofia. We enjoyed a delicious dinner together that she cooked for us. Sofia gave us so many excellent recommendations tailored to our preferences which made our visit absolutely wonderful. Our 9 year old daughter loved spending time with Sofia's adorable dogs and making freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning
