The owner and staff were super firendly and helpful. It's located just 15-20 mins from the old town, but also quite close to the Arthur's seat which is a must visit!

The wonderful and helpful hosts have thought of everything a guest might need. The guesthouse is very close to the coast where people like to walk. Edinburgh city centre is within easy reach by bus. Highly recommended.

In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.

There was a fridge and a microwave, so we could prepare small food for bringing during the day. We found a folder with all information and recommendations for our holiday in Edinburgh, very helpful! The indications were clear from booking to the stay, and good communication with the staff. They provided water, coffee and teas. The accommodation is only 15 mins walking distance from the city center, passing by a nice park close by. A pleasant stay, and definitely coming back next time in Edinburgh! Thanks John! 😁
