Location is great, in the middle of the nature. The cottage is modern, with all amenities to make your stay pleasant. Floor heathing was a plus :)

Lovely little stable, log burner was set up and going for us when we arrived so it was all cosy and warm. Plenty of parking and in the most peaceful location. It was very novel to be woken (not too early) by cows mooing. Great welcome book with all the information needed and the history of the old stable. Kitchen was fully equipped, beds super comfy and a nice hot shower. Lovely pub with a brilliant spa up the road which is walkable. Perfect little night away to recharge. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It was so warm, cosy and comfortable, that we wished we could have stayed for longer. The decor was all very new and the cottage was well-presented and homely, with cosy throws that were great to snuggle under, and a log-burner too (although the cottage was warm enough, so that we didn't need to light it). The milk, teabags and biscuits were appreciated so we could make a cuppa when we arrived. We loved the quiet, rural location and were able to do several different walks from the door. It was a short drive to Youlgreave where there is a selection of good pubs, and close to Bakewell for larger shops. We would definitely go again, and try to make it at least 4 nights next time!
