Built in 1929, the property includes sauna and hot tub. The holiday home has family rooms. This was our second time here - my wife loved it so much that we had to come back and coming all the way to Northern Iceland pretty much decided the rest of our 1-week itinerary. The view is breathtaking, the chalets have all the amenities and comfort you'd wish for (private hot tub !!). Food options were a bit limited at this time of year (the restaurant we went to in Hauganes last year is closed for the winter) but we had planned on using the kitchen and be independent on the food front. This place is a great starting point for exploring the fjörd coast and the peninsula to the north.
