We loved the location of this hotel. Far enough away from the busy town but close enough to walk to restaurants. The ladies working there were so nice and helpful. They upgraded our room and it was stunning!! A huge terrace and a spa tub on the terrace. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we wound absolutely stay there again. The breakfast was a typical Colombian breakfast.

We loved the value for money. We had a private room, which was comfortable, clean, and featured a nice view and a balcony. We liked that the hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a calm, quiet night, although the hostel was empty, so we're not sure if this applies to times when it hosts more guests. The location is also great, far from noise and traffic, but close to the town and the mountain if you're into hiking.

Here are some important details to know before you go, which we discovered when we booked our stay. Volare is only accessible by boat, which departs from the marina at 12 PM and 3 PM free of charge. If you need to return to the mainland for any reason, you can do so, but you'll need to pay for the ride. It's also a good idea to bring snacks, food, and drinks, as Volare has a basic "restaurant" that serves simple breakfast and dinner options.
