Everything was immaculate, clean, modern and new. Definitely was an easy check in process and easy to communicate. Every time I texted I was answered with a rapid response. And was accommodated in every way that I needed. Being that it’s a new build property doesn’t really have a direct route on the maps yet but the host will definitely send you a full video on how to get to the property and explain everything in video. Please follow the video and if you have a uber or taxi send or show them the video so everything is smooth

We enjoyed the small balcony and the ability to cook some food rather than having it delivered or going out to a restaurant. Pleasant environment and quiet and Gloria was very helpful in our stay. Very close to the airport.

If you want a bit of an escape from the busy Medellin "big city energy" this is such an amazing alternative. I enjoyed my stay in the mountains. Waking up to birds singing made me feel like a Disney princess lol.

Santa Elena is beautiful, but it's very Cold! Always!! It's not just a seasonal thing, it's around 9000 ft altitude, so it's quite cold all year round. So dress appropriately! Also,houses don't have heating or insulation here, sometimes they'll have a fire place, but not always. I highly recommend booking places with a fire place as it makes a huge difference at night. Also, highly recommend you have a car when passing through here because everything is quite far! We went to Piedras Blanca part of Parque Arvi, and to be honest I was underwhelmed. Perhaps because it's low season, many parts were closed, but it didn't seem that interesting to me. We ate a Guadalajarra (2 Rs) restaurant. A tiny little Mexican restaurant, which I highly recommend!! We had the burger and the quesadillas, and both were excellent!

The view was great. The hot tub was excellent.

The view was great. The hot tub was excellent. The breakfast was perfect.The big net hammock was awesome, but I didn't use it much due to such a short stay. The staff was very accomodating. The bed was comfortable. The shower was really cool. I thought it was overall pretty great and wish I had shown up earlier.

Guarne is easy to get around.

Guarne is easy to get around. It is very close to the international airport. There is Great selection of restaurants and cafes to eat. Basically, you can find anything you need. For example, supermarkets, pharmacy, beautiful salons, small boutiques etc. The town is very charming and inexpensive. The only thing to avoid is not to arrive after 12 midnight because they are a lot homeless hanging around on the church plaza. It seems that after 12 midnight when most people are sleeping, they tend to gather together up to not good.

The town is busy on the weekend and quieter during weekdays.

The town is busy on the weekend and quieter during weekdays. The traffic moved very smoothly through the town at all times. It's a very lively town with lots of excellent restaurants and cafes, shops, and beautiful colonial architecture.

Let’s see the pro and cons… pros mall and grocery store is a couple of blocks away so you can get everything you want there ( exchange money, buy snacks, drinks, alcohol, great restaurants 3rd floor at mall, gym since I work out etc etc. ) and if you want more authentic Colombia food go up one block to find plenty of that and up 5-6 blocks with ton more restaurants and a park that everyone is gather were you can relax and chill with the locals. The only con is the hotel doesn’t offer more options in food for breakfast and room service but I know what I paid and they were great with everything else especially service, amazing friendly well above and beyond. I will be back!

I was there for only 2 days, but had a chance to go...

I was there for only 2 days, but had a chance to go paragliding and see Comuna 13...both are highly recommended, sort of must do things no matter how long your stay. Poblado is an excellent neighborhood for first timers and singles since it is safe to walk even at night whether your are alone or in a group. PS - my prayers are with everyone in Colombia who were and continue to be impacted by the recent earthquake.

There are excellent places to eat.

There are excellent places to eat. We had lunch at a vegetarian restaurant near the bus terminal in the city center. The weather is very pleasant. The people are very friendly. There is a bus route every 15 minutes from Gate 3 of Rionegro Airport to the city center.

People in Guarne were extremely polite.

People in Guarne were extremely polite. Everyone gathers in the town's center by the Catholic church to socialize in the evenings. You can hear music throughout the town. I would definitely go again and I highly recommend the area. I was very safe. Prices were agreeable.
