We enjoyed the small balcony and the ability to cook some food rather than having it delivered or going out to a restaurant. Pleasant environment and quiet and Gloria was very helpful in our stay. Very close to the airport.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous views and wonderful room with well equipped mini fridge with everything we needed. The table on the deck outside the room was a really nice place to sit and they even brought our dinner to us there.

Rionegro is beautiful. I did not like the hotel as I had a rough start with terrible service from the receptionist the day before the trip. No TV options, so feel it's over priced for such bad service.

Santa Elena is beautiful, but it's very Cold! Always!! It's not just a seasonal thing, it's around 9000 ft altitude, so it's quite cold all year round. So dress appropriately! Also,houses don't have heating or insulation here, sometimes they'll have a fire place, but not always. I highly recommend booking places with a fire place as it makes a huge difference at night. Also, highly recommend you have a car when passing through here because everything is quite far!
We went to Piedras Blanca part of Parque Arvi, and to be honest I was underwhelmed. Perhaps because it's low season, many parts were closed, but it didn't seem that interesting to me.
We ate a Guadalajarra (2 Rs) restaurant. A tiny little Mexican restaurant, which I highly recommend!! We had the burger and the quesadillas, and both were excellent!

The view was great. The hot tub was excellent. The breakfast was perfect.The big net hammock was awesome, but I didn't use it much due to such a short stay. The staff was very accomodating. The bed was comfortable. The shower was really cool. I thought it was overall pretty great and wish I had shown up earlier.

Guarne is easy to get around.
Guarne is easy to get around. It is very close to the international airport. There is Great selection of restaurants and cafes to eat. Basically, you can find anything you need. For example, supermarkets, pharmacy, beautiful salons, small boutiques etc. The town is very charming and inexpensive. The only thing to avoid is not to arrive after 12 midnight because they are a lot homeless hanging around on the church plaza. It seems that after 12 midnight when most people are sleeping, they tend to gather together up to not good.

Let’s see the pro and cons… pros mall and grocery store is a couple of blocks away so you can get everything you want there ( exchange money, buy snacks, drinks, alcohol, great restaurants 3rd floor at mall, gym since I work out etc etc. ) and if you want more authentic Colombia food go up one block to find plenty of that and up 5-6 blocks with ton more restaurants and a park that everyone is gather were you can relax and chill with the locals. The only con is the hotel doesn’t offer more options in food for breakfast and room service but I know what I paid and they were great with everything else especially service, amazing friendly well above and beyond.

it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight...
it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight back home. we did have coffee in the lobby cafe, had lunch nearby (2 min by car) and in check out at 5 am went super smooth. we were within 7 minutes at the airport- where we dropped of the car. it is very close and easy access to the airport, which was our purpose to book this hotel.

People in Guarne were extremely polite.
People in Guarne were extremely polite. Everyone gathers in the town's center by the Catholic church to socialize in the evenings. You can hear music throughout the town. I would definitely go again and I highly recommend the area. I was very safe. Prices were agreeable.

Envigado is fine, not that special, but an OK area. A few stylish cafes a few blocks away in the Junin area, but lots of average bars with two or three stupid TV sets showing sports games that no one, of course, is watching. Only one out of every four does not have an attention grabbing awful TV, so it kinda cuts down the choices.
Medellin is a nice forested city and that is what makes Envigado good: as a part of a pleasant city.
