What an absolute gem of a place to stay! The owners were very welcoming, the hostel is spotlessly clean, and such a quirky set up being an old school. Loved that! Highly recommend a stay! I arrived at night but waking up early and seeing the views from the hostel was lovely, its in a beautiful spot! Please take the time to wander along the road to the old slate quarry, well worth a visit!

Comfortably warm dormitory, bunk bed was comfortable. Bathroom / toilet was clean, shower clean and hot. Only a short walk into the village (Llanberis). Owner was very helpful ref info on pubs, restaurants etc in the village. Located only a short walk from the Snowdon path.

Amazing location just inside the city walls near the castle with views of the wall, harbour, and stunning sunsets. Very atmospheric. Excellent communication with the owners. We had a lot of room for three adults, with a comfortable seating area, great ventilation from triple aspect windows, very modern bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and, if you wished there was a kitchen for guests with anything you would need. We were travelling by bus and the bus stop was only a short walk from the hostel. Pubs and restaurants nearby. Short bus ride to the Snowden Mountain Railway station.
