The family that owns and runs the hostel are extremely friendly and welcoming. They will try to cater to your every need, which is lovely when you’re in a country you don’t know a lot about. They are extremely helpful, and genuinely care about their patrons. The hostel was very clean and well maintained. Clean sheets and towels were easily accessible. There was enough space for everyone to meet together or sit on their own if they liked. The kitchen was readily available, equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking. There were lockers to lock up your valuables, overall an excellent experience.

I recently stayed at Ceylon Stayz for what was supposed to be two nights but ended up extending my stay to three nights because it was such a delightful experience. The owners are a perfect, incredibly helpful, and welcoming couple who go out of their way to assist with anything you need. The hostel’s location is ideal—calm, yet conveniently close to everything you might want to explore. Plus, it’s impeccably clean. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again! 🖤🖤

Beautiful and clean place, good outside areas in the garden with pool, great food and shared kitchen. Owners and stuff are so kind and helpful. it is a bit far from the city centre but you have what ever you need near by and is easy, fast and cheap take a bus or Tuk tuk to the center
