Hostels in Tulum

The hostel is close to the ADO station and far from the party area so it is quiet. The garden is beautiful and the kitchen is great. The breakfast was delicious and plenty. They organize social events so it is solo traveler friendly.

So happy to stay here. I’ve been overnighting along other Mayan Monkey hostels and till now this is my favorite. First, it was my mistake and I booked in wrong dates so I contacted the hostel staff and they solved that, also, they respected the price besides my booking was on weekend. The place is cool, bedroom, architecture, furnitures, the walls, the location, facilities, excellent, and the best the breakfast. I’ve been in several hostels around the world and by now Mayan Monkey breakfast is the best, including the options, taste and price. I wanna return to this place.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Always willing to help, provide directions and recommendations.

Minha experiência neste hostel foi excelente do início ao fim! Tudo estava muito bem organizado, o ambiente era agradável, acolhedor e confortável, e toda a experiência superou minhas expectativas. Mas, sem dúvida, o grande destaque foi o atendimento. Fui muito bem recebida e gostaria de deixar um agradecimento especial a Mariano, que foi extremamente atencioso, simpático e prestativo durante toda a minha estadia. O cuidado e a cordialidade dele fizeram toda a diferença e tornaram a experiência ainda mais especial. Com certeza recomendo este hostel e voltaria a me hospedar aqui sem pensar duas vezes. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa! ❤️

The hostel is ideally located, very close to restaurants, bars, the beach, collectivo service and a grocery store. The hostel itself is an oasis of greenery which makes it very pleasant to hang around in the central courtyard. As a solo traveler who was planning on mostly moving by bike, Tubo was perfect! Each tube come with AC which keep them very comfortable even during a hot day.

The host was very helpful and the volunteers too which made the stay very comfortable! One could rent bikes from the hostel which a good price.
