We loved staying there.We ended up staying for nearly 2 weeks while waiting for documentation.We had a lovely room with its own kitchen and living area adjacent to the balcony. The staff were so kind and accommodating. It is situated in a lovely area and we were able to walk to the supermarket and many shopping areas. Lovely restaurants in the road behind. Hostal Amador was an absolutely wonderful experience when it comes to the staff, location, and facilities. The couple who run the hostel are so hospitable, kind, engaging, and extremely welcoming to travelers from around the world. They even helped me get a Covid test at the last minute when I realized I needed one in order to transit through the USA. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable! The kitchen facilities are well-stocked and the morning coffee was not only complimentary, but delicious too! I also felt very safe walking to the local mini supermarket, and would have liked to explore the leafy residential area more than I had time for. The WiFi was quite good and fast enough too, and I believe there was a printing service available. Additionally, they arranged to pick me up at the airport and for a very (VERY affordable cab ride to the international airport for my departure. Overall, I had a lovely stay, would happily stay again, and highly recommend Hostal Amador.

The best hostel in Panama city. Its located in a central area close to many points of interest and accessible by taxi. The reception is great and helpful with information and also the check in was seamless. The hostel is a great place to meet other travelers and you can prepare your own meals. I loved my time there and would definitely recommend for other travelers.
