This hostel is super clean and the staff is so nice! So close to the beach and food spots! It’s super laid back and a great way to meet other solo travelers.

The location and especially the vibe of the hostel is very cozy and social. It’s not the biggest space but you feel at ease and can really speak with other guests/staff without feeling pressured. The beds were comfortable, the shared bathroom area was clean and the free coffee/tea/cereal was a nice touch by the owner. A last thing is the owner is very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to show you how great Koh Samet is. His little dog, Telay, is the unofficial mascot of the hostel and I can see why. Overall a terrific experience here. Would highly recommend to any weary traveller looking to get a more authentic experience on the island compared to the resorts.
