The best thing about this hostel is the staff, which do a great job. They were always kind, helpful and friendly, ready to have a nice conversation over chai or making a suggestion on Istanbul travel. Thank you! Good location in Kadiköy, near ferry, metro, airport bus, and walking to literally hundreds of restaurants, cafes and bars. Private room was clean and spacious.

Centrally located hostel in walking distance of the historical sites around Sultanahmet. The room had a balcony with a nice view of the Sea. The staff at the property were exceptionally cordial, helpful and friendly! A special shout-out to Jay Styler, our bartender and event organizer at the hostel! He is quick witted, fun loving and makes you feel at home instantly. The pub-crawl he organized was super fun, showed us the nightlife in Istanbul and went on till the wee hours of the morning! I’m going to remember you Jay, for a long time indeed! Front house staff Murat and Sinan were also extremely helpful with information, directions and tips to explore the city! Their friendly attitude made all the difference. There was a good mix of backpackers from all over the globe and it made my time there all the more interesting, sharing stories of our travels and life in general!

The rooms are amazing - everything is super new, the beds have good mattresses / curtains, the bathrooms are good, the rooms themselves are spacious. We liked the house and location. We arrived late at 2:00 am, which is outside the usual hosting hours, but the host was kind enough to wake up and welcome us, even though our reservation was last-minute. Be sure to contact the so friendly host in advance to arrange your arrival time, it made our check-in easy and saved us on that late hour. The value is excellent for the price.
