The hostel is centrally located so you can walk to just about everything and spacious with generous common areas. The best feature of this hostel are your hosts. She will help you figure everything out and treat you like family and feed you like family. Fresh pastries every day, fruits, sandwiches, coffee, juice etc. Did I mention awesome arroz con leche? If your a musician, there is a guitar and a piano which was a welcome bonus for me. 6 stars. Lol 😆💕

YH Hostel was certainly a place like home. The owners, Micha and Vincent, were genuinely caring, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Along with the support team, this hostel was clean, organized, and conveniently located in the heart of Montevideo. I had a private room and was very pleased with the amenities provided. Upon request and for a very affordable fee, they provide top notch, European breakfast and laundry services to their guests. The team certainly goes out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed. It's no surprise they get repeat business from their guests because of their excellent service. I highly recommend Youki Haus (YH) Hostel to anyone visiting Montevideo, Uruguay. Keep up the great work!

we spent 5 nights at Youki Haus. Hostel feels very “homy”. Good location. close to las ramblas, market, cafe and buses. Well equipped kitchen and large dining room where you can easily meet other travellers. Everything is super clean. Our bedroom was small but we were just by the roof terrace so it was like an added space. Owners are very attentive and helpful. They even lended us one of their bicycle one afternoon. We would definitely go back there.

This is possibly one of the best hostels we have stayed in so far in 6 months of travelling South America. In the most expensive country in South America, this place represents great value for money. Clean, tidy, the common room has computers, tea, coffee, and nice place to chill and meet others without being a party hostal. I highly recommend.
