I loved my stay there, it was a super peaceful 4 days, everything was always very clean, the kitchen had all the utensils available, the receptionists were so sweet, always available to help, very polite. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as Royal Mile, National Museum of Scotland, and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk. My recent stay at this hostel was nothing short of amazing. The cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the attention to detail truly set it apart. Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The common areas were cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, the self-service laundry was a huge convenience, and the overall vibe was just perfect. The location was excellent. I can't wait to return!"

Probably the best hostel I've been to across all the ones I've been to :) Lovely hosts, and they usually have some event going on every night too!

Situated in central Edinburgh, the High Street Hostel - Over 18s Only, Backpackers Atmosphere offers free WiFi in all areas. Dating back to 1564, this historic property is on a small side street, just off the Royal Mile.

The hostel offers single beds in shared dormitory rooms. Each bed has a bedside safe and a locker. The rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. Events were fun. Pub crawl in particular was fantastic. Always a surplus of staff around to help out if you have any problems. Double pillows. Breakfast is decent, selection of 3 cereal, juices, toasts, croissants, fruit, coffee.

Mixed and female dormitories have bunk beds and lockers, and guests can make use of laundry services, hairdryers and adaptors. Luggage storage is available at the property. Bicycle storage is available at the High Street Hostel just across the road. They had a friendly atmosphere and cute themed rooms!

The hostel offers accommodation exclusively for guests aged 18 years and older. Dormitories feature bunk beds with bedside lockers and have use of shared bathroom facilities with showers. There is a cosy lounge with a piano and large sofas by the fireplace, a movie room with big screen and an internet lounge with WiFi. It‘s really a nice place to be :)

Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. It offers (not 24h reception) with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. I was worried to be travelling by myself being a woman, but I felt super safe all the time. All the other guests were super nice, clean and organized too. And there were mostly women on the other rooms too, which it's always the best.
