Hi, my name is Michael & we operate Margaret River Properties, focused on giving each of our guests an amazing experience as you play, relax and explore our region. Being raised in Dunsborough, I have a love of the ocean in my blood. After being away for study and work, I realised how special this region is, and so once we had the opportunity, we decided to move back home to raise our family, and we have loved it since. After travelling over the years, whether in Paris, Montana or Port Douglas, I wanted to share my love of experiences with other people, so here we are sharing through Airbnb. We hope you fall in love with Dunsborough and the Margaret River region and that you can unwind in our spaces. We love experiencing coffee, amazing food and wine, and we are lucky that we have so many world-class options here! Relax and unwind in true Down South style and enjoy all the stunning South West of WA has to offer! This spacious home is designed perfectly for the ultimate Down South holiday. The wide entrance hall which delivers you to a huge open plan living area where you can enjoy cuddling up next to the wood fire on the coldest of days or just enjoy the convenience of pressing a button for the reverse cycle air-conditioning. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area flows seamlessly onto the expansive alfresco perfect for relaxing and entertaining. In Winter, enjoy a wine or coffee in front of the fire pit. In Summer enjoy outdoor entertaining and a BBQ. The spacious kitchen includes a large island bench, plenty of storage, dishwasher, gas cooktop, large 900mm electric oven, refrigerator & microwave.The Master Suite / parents retreat offers a queen size bed and spacious ensuite. The three additional guest bedrooms are located in their own wing at the rear of the property. Bedrooms 2 and 3 feature 2 x king single beds in each with bedroom 4 featuring a queen. These bedrooms are serviced by the family bathroom with a bath and additional lounge space / activity room for the kids. Kalima Retreat is located within the 18 Hole, First-Class Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course Estate, just a stone’s throw from Dunsborough Town Centre. The safe beaches & waters of gorgeous Geographe Bay are just a few minutes away. Kalima Retreat is the perfect base for small families or couples wanting to explore the beautiful South-West region. All linen except cot linen & beach towels is provided. This property is self-catering; however, a welcome pack of essential items is provided. We also provide a porta cot and highchair – we do request that you bring along your own cot linen and mattress protector.
