The receptionist had a very hospitable manner and was able to answer all our questions about the surrounding area, recommending places to eat. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and very spacious. The balcony had a nice view and we had drinks there, watching a nice rainbow above the hills, in the distance.

Sawtell is a beautiful spot, especially recommended for water lovers. Beach, ocean pool, Bonville Creek estuary - and all within an easy walking distance from each other - and from the main street which has some lovely cafes on it.

Too expensive.
Too expensive. Dust filled apartment which I had to clean before putting my things out. House rules expect dishes used to be washed and put away. Why are we charged a cleaning fee?? No light in entry of building so needed to climb stairs in the dark.

Sawtell is a great holiday destination if you are looking to unwind & rest. It’s a very pretty “village” with gorgeous fig trees running down the middle of the Main Street. The cafes & restaurants are great & everyone is very relaxed & friendly. The beach is beautiful, well patrolled & clean. Dorrigo National Park & Urunga are both a relatively short driving distance & there are some beautiful walks/hikes you can take once you are there.

Sawtell is a lovely little town, with cafes, restaurants, bakeries, boutiques, cinema, pub and RSL all in the one Main Street with its huge trees in the centre.
We had drinks and food at 63, dinner at Bar Que Sera, Japanese takeaway from Kimono and breakfast and coffees from the Ona Boulangerie. All great - especially dinner at Bar Que Sera where we had their fabulous whole chicken dish, and then we went back for Happy hour cocktails the next day. The Service was terrific

Everything about Sawtell is to like, there's nothing to dislike. A great community, close to the beach, excellent croquet facilities, great cafes and a sensational pub.
The locals are friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful.

We have stayed at Sawtell on several occasions but the first time at this accommodation. Sawtell has maintained it's small town vibe. Had meals in the pub, cafe's and RSL and Bowling club. Very handy to Coffs Harbour and hinterland for short drives.
