The hotel is in a great central location. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It is on a busy street but there is soundproofing on all the windows which took care of the majority of the noise. Being able to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day with a lovely Mudgee wine was a welcome addition. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs was a great added bonus.

Mudgee is an attractive country town surrounded by vineyards and has a lot of significant history. It’s a short distance from Gulgong, which is a must see if you want to understand the history of the area. It has probably the best museum in the country and a brilliant photographic museum too. There are not many towns with an opera house!

Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable.
Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable. It was an easy walk round town to shops, eating facilities, coffee, pub, club, art centre,
We visited winery not far out of town and experienced a wine tasting complete with hampEr and we bought other delicious goods on offer. We have been buying wine from this winery for more than 30 years so was terrific to go back and meet the new owner and see it again for old times sake.
The Arts and Crafts Centre at the Railway Station has a collection of beautiful items. Trip to Gulgong, not so far away was a blast from the past with old wares shops and museum.

I love Mudgee for the diversity of things to do and see. Plenty of places to enjoy a drink, meal and generally catch up with friends and family.
We dined at Kelly's Irish Pub which was building up for St Patrick's day celebrations.
Started one morning at Elton's Bar and Bites, and was not disappointed with the quality of food on offer.
Attended the annual foot crush at Robert Steins winery follow by sampling some of their award winning fine wines at their cellar door.
Wrapped up the day with scrumptious Asian / Aussie cuisine at the Woolshe pub watching games on the bug screen.

This lodge had everything we needed for a cosy one night stay in Mudgee. The fridge was kindly stocked with fresh milk, juice and even zooper dupers. Loads of space to stretch out and relax. The bathroom was clean and the shower had lots of hot water. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows were not too high for my neck. Loved the electric blankets that warmed up the beds just before you hopped in.
Lovely comfortable stay at Kirsten's. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, bed very comfortable. It was very hot in Mudgee on the day we arrived but the accomodation was so cool as the air con had been put on ahead of our arrival. Really was a home away from home. Highly recommended and would stay again.
Fabulous property in a quiet, lovely location close to Mudgee. Beautifully decorated to a really high standard. Well-equipped and well stocked kitchen. Butler's pantry with Nespresso coffee was wonderful. As most of our party cycled in the Mudgee ride, the spa was a big bonus after the ride! This group will be back!
Perry Street Hotel was beautiful. A warm and welcoming boutique hotel steeped in history for Mudgee. The hotel has been stylishly restored and adapted to meet all expectations for a boutique hotel experience. The room was well equipped. Our stay was very comfortable and a positive experience.
I have stayed here on a number of occasions now. This is our go to accommodation provider in Mudgee. Self contained, secure parking in most units - I parked a large ute with no difficulty. Well positioned close to town. Foxtel, TV's, DVD player. It is simply great - we love it.
Great check-in, very clean room/bathroom. Amazingly quiet fridge in room (much quieter than many 5 star hotels we have stayed in around the world). Bed was excellent - very comfortable. Room also quiet despite motel being on the entrance to Mudgee from Sydney.
The Woolpack Hotel is exactly how it is stated. Above a great pub with great food and atmosphere. I can see that it could get loud in the rooms staying on a busy night but as I was there on a Wednesday it was perfect.
A beautiful old accommodation only hotel with plenty of room, access to a large verandah overlooking the park. Very spacious with great character Thoroughly recommend and exceeded our expectations
Everything about this apartment was 100 % So many small touches to make you feel welcome, could not have ordered better. And all within walking distance to the lovely town centre of Mudgee!
The cabin is on the edge of town, quiet, spotless, comfy and has been designed like a boutique hotel. It is a great use of a small space and perfect for a weekend away.
We really enjoyed our stay at McKenna Terraces. The staff were amazing, and the place is beautiful. We will definitely stay here again when next in Mudgee.
Pleasant, clean, comfortable, quaint. Good simple hotel facilities. Some stairs. Charming building. Nice for a short stay base to explore central mudgee
