Crescent Head - Killick Glen - a couple's retreat, hotel in Crescent Head

Offering a garden, Crescent Head - Killick Glen - a couple's retreat features accommodations in Crescent Head. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio.

The location was right in the centre of town - didn't need to use the car for our entire stay. It was a short walk to the beach, the golf course, the shops and the restaurants at the Country Club. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious.

City Centre Motel Kempsey, hotel in Crescent Head

Located alongside the Macleay River, City Center Motel Kempsey features a pool and is 5 minutes’ walk from Kempsey town center. Free Wi-Fi is offered in all rooms except the Economy Rooms.

Don't judge a book by it's cover - motel looks a little dated from the outside, but inside everything's right. Really comfy king sized bed, good kitchenette (really well stocked with cutlery etc), large room and very, very quiet. Motel's literally 20 meters from McDonalds and KFC if you're after takeaway, has an in-house Chinese restaurant, and there's a Woolies and BigW shopping center less than a minute away by car, plus there's two service stations in the immediate vicinity. Located just off the highway it was a perfect place to break our drive back north.

The Old Bank Gladstone Licensed Restaurant & Boutique Accommodation, hotel in Crescent Head

The Old Bank Gladstone Licensed Restaurant & Boutique Accommodation is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Hat Head where guests can make the most of its garden and bar.

We stayed one night in this wonderfully restored house with a lovely cottage garden in a picturesque riverside location. The owners - Alan and Tania - were very hospitable and, while we only had breakfast there, the food was exceptional.

Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land.

Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land. The surfing was amazing to watch. Great breakfast at SLSC - Great value food and great coffee. The house we rented was not great especially for the price but it was close walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in.

Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in. We have been holidaying in Crescent Head since the mid 70s. It has changed a lot over the years, a few good coffee shops and club and tavern serving good food and clothing shops, post office, news agent, butcher, baker. We graduated from staying large tents in the caravan park to staying in cabins and now renting a house when we stay for extended time.

We love the pristine beach at Crescent Head with the cafe at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We love walking up the spit to see the whales and watch the golfers on one side and surfers on the other. Beautiful views across the bay. Sadly it was very windy when we were there. It is important to choose your accommodation wisely so that you have a lovely spot to retreat to when the wind comes up. The restaurants are limited and close early.

Friendly east coast Aussie town with great surf and lovely vibe. The beach is just a few hundred metres from the town centre and its shops. The sunset watching the surfing was gobsmackingly beautiful. I’d recommend staying a while here to soak up the relaxed feeling of Crescent Heads.

Have been coming to crescent head to stay in the caravan park with family for over 30 years, so we don't usually stay in the hotels but this year we needed to do 1 night either end and I must say we absolutely loved staying here. It was very very comfortable, beautiful surrounds, close to the main street area. Staff were friendly and service very good. The simple kitchen facilities were enough and very useful.

Beds were comfortable, apartment was clean and the kitchen has good amount of knives etc. Locked box system worked well. The location is great. Look one way and you'll find Crescent Head is a cozy, relaxed little village with friendly locals and some nice shops and cafes. Look the other to discover a stunning beach, lake and headland. Great for kids too.

Great location proximity to beach and Crescent Head. Quiet position with birds and kangaroos as neighbours, caravan facilities very generous and specious as a “glamping ” option. Owners kindly returned a couple of items we left behind with little fuss, very grateful.

The unit is in a perfect location for a getaway to Crescent Head. On the water and close to everything. The unit is old but cute and comfortable. We like it. Elders real estate were fantastic at keeping us informed and changing dates due to the flooded road.
