The house is located 4kms from the airport, 2.5km to the Lagoon (southern end of Esplanade), one block (200ms) to Cairns Esplanade and Pirate Ship playground. Muddy's playground (the best with kids and it also has a great restaurant/cafe) is 1.5km away. Cairns Central Shopping Centre and Cairns City Centre is 2km-2.5km away. There are 2 bikes with helmets in downstairs storage area for your use. Feel free to explore Cairns on wheels :) Please note, you must wear helmets when riding a bike! Nearest public transport (bus stop) is 350m, less than 5mins walk away on Sheridan street. Please note that UBER is also available in cairns! (roughly half price than taxis). For getting around, and to explore larger Cairns area (i.e. the Northern Beaches, Tablelands, Palm Cove & Port Douglas, etc.) we recommend renting a car or using UBER.
