The hotel was in a nice location not too far from the center, the rooms were nice, the pool was really nice, but the staff was amazing. They gave us a free upgrade and free early check in because of how hot it was when we arrived. A staff member gave out ice creams on a particularly hot day to people at the pool. And there was a bbq grill for use. I would stay again next time I’m in cairns.

I didn't feel very safe walking around the city unless in the main esplanade as there were so many pubs with drunk people talking to you. I felt 1/2 a school of kids were in the Cairns Central shopping centre at 3:10.

Cairns offers visitors the most amazing options for seeing...
Cairns offers visitors the most amazing options for seeing this part of Australia. We did not see much of Cairns town itself as we were so busy seeing the rainforest, snorkelling and visiting Kuranda. We did go to the town to eat and there seems to be a tourist supply of cafes and restaurants, a marina, a night market and a promenade but that’s all we saw so can’t comment enough on the city.

Great location with lots to explore without needing to hire a car. We did a day tour to the Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation. A short walk from our accommodation to the railway station and we did a return trip on the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Lot of affordable lovely restaurants to suit all budgets. A favourite was the seafood dinner on the Prawn Star which is a moored boat near the Shangri-la Hotel on the Marina

Cairns is the most amazing place if you love nature.
Cairns is the most amazing place if you love nature. The Great Barrier Reef is at your finger tips. With boat trips, snorkelling or scuba diving. Flights over the reef are amazing and beautiful beaches to the north of Cairns. Travel up into the rain forest to see an array of different birds and wonderful water falls. Relax in the lifeguarded lagoon near the harbour.
Fantastic restaurants with fresh fish dishes and great steaks.

A tropical style, well positioned and well maintained neat hotel located in prime position in Cairns within 5 min walking distance to the Esplanade, bustling restaurants and bars. Magnificent sea views from our room. Couldn’t have been happier with our upgrade to a top floor sea facing ocean front room! Loved the layout! And the walk in shower. Thank you to the staff who were always smiling, helpful and willing to give you free cookies every time my husband visited the reception desk.
The location is ok, close to the city. We hired a car, it's easier in Cairns if you want to explore all the beauties that the region is offering. We had an apartment which was ok, we had the chance to wash our clothes and to cook some meals (which is not bad if you travel for 40 days). We had to spend some times in the apartment, due to heavy rain and floods. likely the hotel is not situated next to rivers. The staff is super kind.
The staff at this hotel really made the stay wonderful. They were helpful and nice and booked my tour and taxi. Cairns is so hot so it was nice to have good air con and the pools. Its a short walk to the esplanade and the park. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and clean. The wifi worked pretty well and the kitchen was equipped with anything youd need. Its also good to have access to laundry facilities on each floor
Spacious room and the location of the hotel which provides a nice view of the sea. The stroll to city centre is enjoyable on the Esplanade.
The staff are very helpful. Especially, Issy and Rainie. They will do their best to make sure you have a very comfortable stay and also help you with information about Cairns that will make your holiday even better.
Apartment was great for a longer stay in Cairns, can book excursions from the ground floor office and order a taxi to the airport on site. Great location for solo female traveler - felt safe, secure etc. On the Esplanade, so close to shops, restaurants etc.
