I use this motel as it is handy to the airport. I fly to Perth and Bali and my flights are out of Cairns. Stayed many times, staff very friendly and helpful, Close to small restaurants, small supermarket and bottle shop.

Loved Cairns at this time of year - July.
Loved Cairns at this time of year - July. Lots to do and see. Only complaint is that the restaurant food was mediocre across all places I tried, especially fish and seafood. Fruit and vege market is fabulous. Great shopping centre. Cairns is worth a visit. The trip by train and cable car was a fabulous day out. Lunch at Ellis Beach was really good. Cairns is really clean and the gardens everywhere are beautifully kept.

Center of town a bit grungy, but the fruit market and night market were fun spots. Once you got out of town though things were spectacular - boat ride on the daintree, diving on the reef - can't be beaten.

We love Cairns and Port Douglas and have been going for 30 years. The lagoon pool is being renovated at the moment which may affect some travellers. Dining is excellent with many options, our new favourite is Waterbar and grill on the Marina Pier, great setting and wonderful food.
I highly recommend Cairns as a destination.

Loved Cairns.
Loved Cairns. There are so many places to see and so much to do...Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, snorkelling on the reef, going to the Atherton Tablelands, the butterfly, bird and koala parks at Kunandra, the Skyrail, walking along the boardwalk, the aquarium is amazing. Loved Dundees restaurant.
We came to Queensland as a family for a 10 day holiday. Four days into the break, one of our party tested COVID+ Due to the Queensland school holidays it was not possible to remain in quarantine in the motel we had booked prior. Paradise Links Resort in Port Douglas, and Sunshine Tower Hotel In Cairns were fully informed of our developing COVID status and they honoured our bookings and treated us very well.
Our experience at Pacific Hotel was truly delightful. I specifically selected this hotel based on its excellent value and prime location, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The proximity to Cairns allowed us to easily explore the vibrant surroundings and fully indulge in everything the city had to offer.
Good sized apartments which were well equipped for a family of four. Plenty of pillows and blankets! Close to grocery stores and a short drive to The Esplanade and other Cairns attractions. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
we rent a car in Cairns, although the hotel is a little bit far to the sea, while it is still with working distance since Cairns is not a bit city.
The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious for a 2 adult+2 kids family. Can cook breakfast in the room.
The room was spacious, well appointed and clean.
Location overlooking the esplanade makes it convenient to shops restaurants and thd board walk. And there was free off road parking - something not all Cairns hotels offer.
