Offering an outdoor pool and views of the garden, Kuranda Ngorongoro Lodge is located in Kuranda in the Queensland Region. Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is 3 mi from the property. Sue and Patrick were the most gracious hosts during our stay. Our daughters were enthralled with their bird sanctuary, and the walk through the rainforest that is their backyard. The breakfast was filled with delicious fresh fruit and eggs fixed to our liking. I can't say enough about the hospitality and the accommodations!
Located 6 miles from Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Ronday-voo Bed and Breakfast offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Great property, quaint, quiet, friendly and competent owner, good breakfast. It is on the top of my list of places I would like to stay at again.
Cedar Park Rainforest Resort offers unique accommodations in the rainforest, 45 minutes’ drive up from Cairns. Free unlimited WiFi is offered. An astonishing, lovely, restful property surrounded by forest, with abundant birds and other critters. I enjoyed leisurely explorations for two days of the lawn dotted with fruit trees, a fish pond, the lovely creek (with hot-water bathtub beside it!), outdoor decks with hammocks, fascinating common rooms with games and books, and more. It's run by a delightful family that has thought of everything you might want. Rooms are large plus kitchen with treats, fridge stocked with free extensive breakfast and homemade foods for purchase, filtered running water, espresso maker, and yet more. Very eco and wildlife conscious. Spend two nights at least and relax!
Resort Room in Paradise in Kewarra Beach provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The property has a garden, as well as a terrace. I booked this place in a last minute and checked in very late. However Alan was really welcoming and made my stay comfortable. Nice bath, lovely view and quiet location. I’d love to come back one day! Thank you very much.
From its beautiful setting at the base of rainforest mountains, just 20 minutes north of Cairns, Paradise Palms Resort invites discerning guests to a truly special experience. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS EXCELLENT - AND EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. WE WILL BE STAYING THERE AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD.
Located in Cairns, within 1.1 miles of Palm Cove Beach and 15 miles of Cairns Convention Center, Montauk Rainforest Retreat provides accommodations with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private... From the first moment I booked, Julie and Greg communicated immediately. When I called to give an approximate time of arrival Greg was helpful. On arrival Julie greeted us and took us into the unit. What a lovely place! Beautifully tiled throughout. The ensuite was to die for with such beautiful views through the windows. We loved the lush tropical setting! Sitting outside enjoying breakfast or a snack surrounded by such a sight, and the sounds of either silence - or the occasional sounds of birds or kookaburras. Butterflies dancing in the sunlight - palms fluttering gently. It was exactly what we needed - tranquility. The location is so handy to Cairns, Port Douglas, Daintree. Nice to come back from a day's outing to relax in "our" slice of heaven! Special thanks to Julie!
Kuranda is such a quaint tropical town, lots of shopping and opportunities to experience nature. We visited bird world and I could have stayed there all day! We did some light shopping and found some wonderful items that were handmade, unique and didn't break the bank.
Picturesque areas in the hills out of Cairns. They totally cater for the tourist trade. We unfortunately missed the Kuranda train as it was a maintenance day on Monday, but we had a great time at both the bird and butterfly sanctuary. A very layback and relaxing atmosphere around the town. The lizards next to the cafe in the garden were very entertaining!
really beautiful room and bathroom in a separate charmful cottage located in the rainforest right outside of Kuranda. we,'very been guest in dry season and humidity, despite the intense vegetation surrounding the house, has not been an issue for us. Host (Sue and Patrick) supergentle and friendly made out short stay rally nice and experiencial. good continental breakfast.
Wow. Impressive. Far from the crowd, so beautiful. Owners where fantastic hosts: you feel really free to do as you please. Atmosphere is personal, inviting. We are very happy with did not stay in mainstream hotels in the area. This venue is unique. With about 100 hotel nights per year in experience, I recommend this resort warmly.
Nancy was a great hostess. The place is delightful, a little out of the tourist bustle of Kuranda, but close enough to explore the sights easily.
