Just a 3-minute walk from Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas Cottage & Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool. All accommodations features a kitchenette and a patio with mountain views. Fantastic cottage literally seconds from the main high street but yet so peaceful and quiet too. Equipped with absolutely everything you can think of...the umbrellas came in handy! And as did the foil for making sandwiches for lunches so we could eat at the swanky places on an evening. Cottage is absolutely spotless and loved the little touches like the dolce gusto coffee machine! (Must get one!) And flowers in vase from the garden! Loved that! Didn't want to leave. Perfectly located for everything within a few minutes. Cannot rate it highly enough!

Located in Mossman, 4.1 miles from Mossman Gorge and 5 miles from Flames of the Forest, Hacienda Cooya Beach has accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden.... A lot of space, super comfy couches (inside and out), everything we needed was there. Lew was a fantastic host, his communication was excellent and he was very helpful. Thanks Lew! The kids are still talking about the "holiday house", weeks later.

Port Douglas actually has so much going on! You can find live music and happy hours every night of the week. The beach isn't great and I think you could find nicer ones on the drive to Cairns. I thought I would get bored here after a couple of days but there is SO much to do even just in town!! Great restaurants and shops. Go on Sunday for the market!
We stayed at Port Douglas after staying in Cairns, and like many reviewers, found it to be a tropical paradise, much smaller than Cairns, but with plenty still to do. We saved the tours up to the Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation for Port Douglas, so our time on tour buses would be less. We also fit in a parasailing ride (by Uplift) on the day we arrived, and a trip out to the reef on Wavelength...both were incredible. I was traveling with my 21-yr-old son during his Easter break from college, and he really enjoyed it here, too. I was afraid it would be all older people and couples, but there were plenty of Millennials about, and prices didn't seem any different from Cairns. I would highly recommend a stay in Port Douglas of at least 3-5 days.
Port Douglas is a very small Town, used to be chic but now getting a Little old, it said to be the rich people coming there... May be that's why everything is overpriced, restaurants (serving same thing) and outdoor activities tours. The 4 miles Beach water is brown-grey, not clear, with many peaces of seaweed.
Places to Eat - Nautilus Restaurant, Salsa, Court House Snorkel Great Barrier Reef with Calypso Visit -Wildlife Habitat Odd Fun - Cane Toad Races at Iron Bar Drive through Daintree and stop along the way to Cape Tribulation. YES THIS IS POSSIBLE ALL IN 2 DAYS
We had 4 nights in Port Douglas and it was enough time for us to spend one day snorkeling on the reef, one day up in Daintree National Park hiking and exploring, and one afternoon up in the Mossman Gorge.
I loved Port Douglas. Wish I could have stayed longer. Just the right amount of shops and things to do for me. Most walking distance from the beach. Numerous places to eat as well. A good variety of costs, so really something for most budgets. Went to Daintree and Kuranda from there. Two very worthwhile tours. Should have spent more time on the beautiful beach.

All good - Port Douglas is a very expensive town. This was the cheapest accommodation at $150 a night, other than a youth hostel with shared facilities. It was very new. All facilities were good. A bit far from centre of town but if i was closer, it would have been very expensive. You need a car if you stay here - a long walk into town so not close to shops etc. Office/reception only open 8-17.00. Not sure what happens if you need anything outside those times

Cannot not fault a thing... the staff were so friendly, the facilities were amazing, the bed was comfy, everywhere was clean, lovely modern vibe to the place. Was a little windy, but amazing location for the beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants (way to much choice). Literally cannot fault it. Loved port Douglas and this lovely boutique hotel finished off our time here. We were a couple, but stayed in the studio. Perfect for family or couple.

We travelled from Brisbane up to Port Douglas on holiday, staying in 10 different places and this was our best by far! Port Douglas is amazing, such a lovely town, with great bars, restaurants and shops. Our apartment was so big and had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic, our kids loved it! And the owners were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone going to Australia stays in Port Douglas in these apartments!

A compact but very comfortable apartment. Lovely balcony and pool view. At the quietest end of Maccrosan Street, across the road from Four Mile Beach - ideal location! Well equipped - impressive kettle and toaster!! Full use of hotel facilities and even though we were not technically hotel guests, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Port Douglas is a relaxed laid back resort - well positioned to explore the area.

The hotel is conveniently located. It takes only a few minutes to the center of Port Douglas and it’s close to the highway in case you plan on traveling onwards. The pool is very nice and heated which makes it nice to swim even on cooler days. There are some nice calm reading areas which are convenient in case you just want to relax with a book but want to be out of your room.

Great location, close to beach. 10 min walk to shops. We took advantage of the free pick up transport to marina for our snorkel outing. Booked a half day fishing trip w hotel owner, which was excellent. Kitchen well stocked to cook. Best grocery store in Mossman Woolworths. Selfcatering in most meals as restaurants here pricey. Comfortable beds, a/c worked great.

The property was perfectly situated in Port Douglas. Steps to the beach and on the Main Street to town. The property manager, Sue and her husband, are the real gems. They make sure all is in order and will assist you when needed. Thank you for allowing us to spend our time in at Reflections..

Great value for money with a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom self contained swim out apartment. Beds were possibly the most soft and comfortable I've ever slept in. Pool was amazing and particularly enjoyed the pool's long swimming hours (to 10pm I think).
