Beautiful, vintage, character cottage by the ocean. Tasman National Park just outside the door. 50 mins from Hobart airport. Relax and chill to the sight and sound of the waves, my peaceful place rejuvenates. Once you get here you won't want, or need to leave. Fishing, swimming, snorkelling, surfing and glorious beach walks just out the door, Tessellated Pavement, The Blowhole, The Devils Kitchen, Waterfall Bay. Hotel with great food and wine 20 mins walk along the beach. Fish & chips, oysters, coffee and ice cream 30 min stroll along the beach. Important to note the House is split into two units, with no internal door between the two. So great for two small groups, lots of separate spaces, for quiet times if required !
I work in tourism in Hobart city. On most Saturdays you will find me at Salamanca market where I have a stall, selling my art and catching up with my guests, letting them know all the ‘local’ secrets! I would love to help you plan your itinerary in Tasmania. I like photography, dancing, yoga. I have 2 grown daughters, 20 and 24. Like fine food and wine. I love to keep fit. I love to swim. I am close by, but not onsite. I can help with anything, or if you prefer, just leave you be!
Stunning world class natural environment abounds. Close by Tasman Island Cruises, Port Arthur Historic Site, The Coal Mines Historic Site. 3 Capes Walk. Cape Hauy, Cape Raoul, Waterfall Bay. The Lufra hotel is in easy walking distance and Dolishus fish and chips. Amazing world class rainforest and beach walks at your door step. Sea cliffs, pelagic tours, Albatross and Whales visible from the living room. It does not get any better or any more comfortable. Best to have your own car to get here. Tassielink buses have a limited service. Get all your supplies before you come at Sorell.
