I am planning to go back as this time was just an overnight stay, which gave us not a lot of time to look around before we had to leave the next day. What we saw was beautiful and we look forward to returning.

Staying at the Nightcap Hotel Victor was within a short walking distance of the main street for Cafes, takeaway food and shops . A short distance to Granite Island Causeway which you can walk over to the Island or catch the Horse drawn tram which is a wonderful experience for young and old. The hotel is a short walking distance to the Museums and the train Station for the Tourist train to Goolwa and Back. Victor Harbor is a good base to drive and explore the close towns of Goolwa, Port Elliot and Middleton and also the Fleurieu peninsula.

Lovely town with gorgeous buildings.
Lovely town with gorgeous buildings. Easy to walk around lots of restaurants and cafes. I recommend going to the information centre in town, we found the staff super helpful. The scenery is beautiful, if you have a car there are plenty of lovely drives and small towns around Victor Harbor. We were there in April so recommend bring jackets and umbrellas. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We did the train to Goolwa, it was ok just disappointed the steam engine wasn’t running.
We had takeaway at Noodle Bento in the main shopping centre, delicious! Chicken Laksa and Mongolian Beef, thumbs up!
Nino’s for coffee and their egg and bacon rolls another thumbs up!

Victor Harbor is always a nice place to visit.
Victor Harbor is always a nice place to visit. We walked to Granite Island and around the main part of town. They had the Artisan markets plus the general Sunday markets which are always fun to visit .
Even though it was a long weekend the supermarkets were opened if you needed to purchase anything
Dinner at Nino's did not disappoint, beautiful food and great service

Local life pleasant and laid back, quiet during the week,...
Local life pleasant and laid back, quiet during the week, busy on weekends as tourists flock into the area.. local pubs and restaurants cater to all tastes and budgets. The location offers many activities for families and all ages.. beaches, fishing, hiking. Several coastal townships nearby - literally 5 minutes away to drive, with so much history to explore. Regular local markets and activities, fun runs, art displays in the park, walks across to Granite Island, and much more... all free - with a few boat rides and train rides and even camel rides at reasonable prices.
If you like the quiet atmosphere, skip school holidays.. but if you are OK with the friendly busy vibe.. plenty to enjoy for all.. sideshow rides and park stalls go up in busier times - ofcourse, the horse tram to the Island is a staple for all to enjoy.
A beautiful restored hotel facing the water. The long balcony offers their guest the best views in Victor Harbor.
We had a no contact check-in, which worked perfectly. Their instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Our budget room had a separate bathroom that was 20m from the room, which was fine. It was large and clean and had the best water pressure.
The room itself had a sink and fridge, a comfortable bed . We spent time sitting on the balcony having drinks watching the water.
This fabulous peaceful little cottage is ideal for a stay in Victor Harbor. Located in the heart of Victor and walking distance to good shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage itself is super clean with quality modern decor, comfy beds and luxury towels and bedding. The Christmas decorations were a delightful touch and greatly appreciated. We loved it here, and 100% recommend the place. Thanks Tracey & Thomas!
The host was really caring and responsive. The place is small but extremely well set up. Like a complete tiny house, really great. The bbq works perfectly for meals and the bathroom is big enough and comfortable. Great big TV and great aircon. 30 seconds walk from the water. Value for money too.
Staff were very friendly, the hotel room itself is very cute and clean. Perfect location just across the beach , surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Parking was easy to find and affordable. The hotel itself is so chic and modern, clean and food was very yummy! Looking forward to coming back.
The cottage was light, bright, clean and comfortable. Perfect location for our time away in Victor Harbor. We enjoyed the quiet location and lovely views from the lounge and tree-top verandah. Beds were comfortable. The host left eggs from their farm which was lovely.
The whole experience went according to our planning. Victor Harbor HCP was a good base to operate from to visit family and friends and to enjoy the coastal environment. Easy access and egress procedures to and from the park. The park environment was very quiet.
Yelki is a haven by the sea! The accommodation is over 100 years old and is comfortable, homely and has all facilities to make a stay perfect for everyone. Parking on site, surrounded by serene gardens and a view to the Bluff and the sea. Can't wait to go back.
This place is a real gem. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing; the hosts are lovely and the breakfast amazing. Sparkling clean, comfortable, roomy and with beautiful views. All facilities offered were available.
The neighbourhood was quiet and very family oriented.
Nice backyard and the property fits our needs.
Great communication from Ray White Victor Harbor (credit goes to Cath Holmes for prompt response)
Immediately upon opening the room we were shown this beautiful view of the water. The apartments are a great size and very clean. Couldn't be happier with our choice to stay at Bluff.
