Located on the Victor Harbor waterfront, Anchorage Hotel offers rooms with stunning sea views. It features a wine bar and restaurant with an outdoor patio and a log fire. The charm and warmth of the old hotel was carried through to the rooms. It felt like you were staying in an old hotel with mod cons which is what we were after. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! The staff were super friendly and the overall atmosphere was amazing!
Located in Victor Harbor, the 4.5-star McCracken Country Club offers luxurious accommodations, an 18-hole golf course, and panoramic views across the Hindmarsh Valley from most rooms. Sensational facilities .. clean with views and friendly service.
When staying at Wintersun Motel, guests can walk across the road to the beach or to Victor Harbor town center, just a 12-minute drive away. Best Motel I have stayed in for many years....liked it so much stayed an extra two nights...and was sad to have to leave
Located in the heart of Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Comfort Inn Victor Harbor features free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. everything was great, but need to have a waterbag, in bed, as weather freezing. i stay here all the time. ,, brenton.
there is alot of places to eat out and good shopping centres if you like fishing have a car and a way of carrying your fishing gear as there is only one jetty and parking around it is a nightmare have around $2000-$3000 if you plan on a holiday in victor harbour as good places to stay in comfort are expensive the food is pretty expensive at there hotel i would not eat at hotel victor food is over priced and taste like crap and to many drunk people being loud
A beautiful place to spend a holiday. Plenty to do and see. Its a little congested at the moment as they are upgrading roads - but it is winter and by the warmer weather that inconvenience will be finished. All in all it has good shopping, good attractions to visit, beautiful beaches and it's only about an hours drive from Adelaide. Only complaint we had is the council is not keeping an eye on the childrens playground on the foreshore. An old train which children can climb on, has been graffitied with disgusting language that children can read. My husband straight away rang the council to complain and to get them to come and get rid of the filth but I don't know if they did or not. We are seniors so we didn't get back there.
Victor Harbor is a cute town with a historical background and a beautiful beach. The park around the beach area was well maintained. When we were there, work was going on for upgrading Main Street. When the work is done, and all the businesses are open, the main area of town will be fun for walking and shopping.
Plenty of things to do; visit Granite Island, see the surrounding towns, see whales, eat out at nice places. We've done the touristy things before (they are all great) and there are plenty of other things to do. If we had more time, we'd do the penguin tour again.
Customer service could be better, when you ask them to clean the room and change towels, they promised to do it but nothing happened and no apology, they completely ignored my request. They were not friendly.
Great place for a day trip but major excavation works on the CBD have significantly impacted local business and made car access impossible and foot access difficult - as a result many businesses and cafes are closed
The farm was absolutely beautiful and provided a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We loved that we were able to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee overlooking the countryside views, with just a short drive to the restaurants and gorgeous beaches in Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and Goolwa. It’s like we had two holidays in one. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming. The complementary breakfast was also lovely and a nice way to start the day. We had a fabulous stay and look forward to our next visit.
Yelki is as cute as and has so much history and character and helped us get a sense of the beginnings/settlement of Victor Harbor. It's so homely and cosy, comfortable and close to the beach, cafes/restaurants and there are plenty of welcoming touches e.g. chocolates, wine and biscuits. Sue and John are very helpful and friendly and great communicators.
Even with Covid 19 everything worked perfectly. The room was ready, well cleaned and a lovely corner spa bath. We chose to eat elsewhere only in order to enjoy Victor Harbor but I am sure the facilities would be good. Plenty of parking space and everything worked smoothly. Only minutes from the town and I would suggest a lot nicer
As advertised the perfect location with modern house in a quiet and friendly neighbours. Safe walking distance to everything, this was our 4 visit to Victor Harbor. Our best stay ever, we would highly recommend.
Loved it . Clean unit Close to everything Victor Harbor .. Great for ANZAC DAY and dawn service Commercations . Walk to all local entertainment .. Good private car park ..
The room was great very comfortable for what we needed. We had breakfast down stairs in the morning and it was awesome. Love a cooked breakfast. The staff were great too.
It is really close to the beach, however further from town and restaurants than we thought. There were great entertainment options for kids, we didn't utilise them.
Modern accommodation with separate lounge/dining area. Bread/milk/cereal provided which was nice. Also games/dvds/books available for use.
Great location, basic accommodation but comfortable and clean. We would stay again on our next visit to Victor Harbor.
Location was good, could walk to all cafes & restaurants. Breakfast was enjoyable & staff very helpful.
The room and hotel themselves were okay and food was good
The hot station in the room to cook something.
Great view. Comfortable spacious rooms.
From the location, to the accommodation, the cleanliness, the views….even the alpacas! I can’t fault this beautiful place. Perfect in every way. We stayed in the Sky Villa which had everything we needed. The communication from Tracey and Mark was very professional and they were very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely rate Seascape Retreat as one of our favourite local places to stay…and we will definitely be back…again and again. Thank you Tracey and Mark, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay…next time it will be longer!!
Great location and well set out. The perfect self contained cabin for 2. Definitely a place we will always come back to when available. It is definitely a popular holiday destination as it is almost always booked out.
everything was great, but need to have a waterbag, in bed, as weather freezing. i stay here all the time. ,, brenton.
